The "ok" button on the outside of my phone has stopped working. It never recognizes that I'm pushing it. I have to open my phone to do everything.

was someone trying to rooting the tablet, Brands like Polaroid or other brands have made special keys used and make the bios to the firmware possible worn.
Some brands depend on google based firmware have no possibillity to make adjustments and rooting is not easy without knowledge .
Look for the personal backup & reset have settings like drm reset and factory data reset but if the data was by rooting was wrong flashed the bios cannot anymore handle the interpreter adresses to the chipsettings , maybe push the tablet off and push at the same time volume button on low and high and on /off button all at the same time together to turn in instead of only the on switch maybe you get Chinese language to see and differend caracters it can give a little hope if you see it , with the volume you can scroll on the lines where you can recognize normal caracters like mmc or some other colored european or american letters then only the Chinese yellow or red caracters scroll with the + and- of the volume button to that recognized caracters on that line and push the on/off switch that is functional as a return /enter button. that is a really factory hard reset on some brands tablets made by same factory on Polaroid it should always be functional but other tablets androids maybe even the same way .read about the brand and model you have on googleor youtube.
Try it . or scan for malware tools outsite google play if ther are other suggestions by the failure.

I have the same problem. Trouble pairing but finally I got the SYNC to find my U430 and paired but the SYNC never connects with the phone.

Jim, it really sounds like one of threethings. Either will require a repair shop.
1. the film sensor is not recognizing film in the film chamber, or film across the back, therefore not telling the advance motor to advance film...
2. The film advance motor itself needs replaced.
3. The rear door latch switch needs replaced.
Since everything else seems to do OK, I doubt the main computer board is bad.

Not very likely to be overheating. CD's don't really have drivers & if it was working OK then a firmware upgrade isn't needed. Full drive won't cause the problem.

Pretty much the drive has just died. If the motor runs when you hit the door button but the tray doesn't move - try *gently* pushing the door closed. If it doesn't go - new drive.

If the motor doesn't run when you push the button, you can check to see if the power cable somehow came off but that's extremely unlikely. Most probably you'll just have to get a new drive.

If you've been in the habit of pushing the tray to start it closing, stop!! That's the most common cause of your kind of problem. ALWAYS open and close with the button.

i hope your problem is now ok.

go to settings, then ringtones, then edit...scroll along passing call tone, message tone, power on/off tone til you get to a pic of a little yellow shell and a phone inside it - you have about 5 sound on/off options plus a SILENCE option, press ok then back back back to normal screen and the noise has gone! phew! It was driving me nuts too!

Well the reason that they stop qorking is because when you open your phone up all the way, it tears something in your phone. to get it to work. hold down the okay button. open the phone while you are still holding the okay button, then close it back and release the okay button. it is not a permenant fix but it works for a little while :)

Try to look at the settings(phone settings)

Your phone is experiencing a hardware failure in it's external buttons, unfortunately there's not much that can be done without taking it to a physical repair center.

open your phone and theres alittle tiny button all the way up at the top push it in with a needle and see if that works
