Reinstalling my Dell AIO 922 Printer

I recently had to replace my hard drive in my computer and now I need to reinstall my Dell AIO 922 printer and I have lost the disk.

    my prnter keeps telling me there is a paper jam and will not feed paper.I have looked at all the paper feed but cannot find any paper

Go to START--- Control Panel--- Add or Remove Programs Select the drivers and click REMOVE Restart your computer If windows detects and reinstalls it automatically, you should be finished. If not, go to START--- Control Panel --- Printers and faxes --- Add Printer ? To start the Add Printer wizard.

Updated to Windows Vista and now the Dell 922 AIO scanner won't work


I assume the old computer was not Vista
This site has the vista 32bit driver

Printer DeLL AIO 922 is not accepted by Acer with vista premium


You will have to uninstall all the old drivers first as the pc will use those first then re install new driveres from dell

I recently got a new Dell computer and kept my Dell AIO 922 printer, but now the icon is lost, I cannot scan. However, I can print, but that is about it.


Do you still have the Dell AIO 922 Drivers and Utilities CD? If so, you can reinstall it on your new Dell PC with the Drivers and Utilities CD. Although you are able to see this printer in your list, the other components are missing such as the scan and fax options. If you have already reinstalled it using the CD, you should see the All In One Center under the Start Menu/ All Programs/Dell Printers/Dell AIO Printer 922 and the All In One Center should be showing there. You can right click on the All in One Center and select "send to" and choose desktop to create a shortcut or icon on your desktop. Your options for scanning and faxing should be showing here. Hope that helps!

Dell 922 AIO NT 4.0 driver is blocked


Download the printer driver from dell web site and try to reinstall. Before reinstall the printer driver you need to uninstall the previous printer driver from control panel->program feature->dell printer

Hi there,
" Unplug the printer cable from the computer.
" Unistall the printer drivers from Device manager and also unistall the all the printer appications
" restart the computer
" Click here and slecet the operating system and download the drive
"
" after installing drivers and software it will ask you to connect the printer.
" then you can connect the printer and and try to Print the test page.

HI you do not need the AIO. You can use Fax and Scan program of Vista.

Updated to Windows Vista and now the Dell 922 AIO scanner won't work


For windows Vista; it is imperative to run the Vista patch which can be found on the Dell website (Downloads and drivers).
Make sure that you run the patch, after removing the printer USB cable from the computer. Restart the computer as the patch suggests and then install the Vista specific drivers, which also need to be downloaded from Dell Website.
Again, do not connect the printer unless the installation software asks you to.
For scanner issues, those who are unable to get anything scanned to their computer, and are able to print, it is essentialy a Firewall/Anti-virus issue. You can check that out by trying to scan using an application such as MSPaint (Start> type 'mspaint' > hit enter).
