Your issue might be the thermal fuse. This page goes over that and other potential causes for your model dryer.
The clicking could be the start relay or the door switch ... hard to say.
Good luck on your troubleshooting

I forgot to add ... if it is the thermal fuse then you also need to understand why it blew ... usually this is because the dryer overheats ... which can be caused by some level of blockage of the vent or lint buildup.

Dryer should tumble with a bad thermal fuse, just no heat, reset breakers, even if they look fine, then check door switch after that check the timer

SOURCE: DRYER

The thermal cut-out is located on the side of the heater housing assm. To gain access you need to use a putty knife to depress the two spring clips between the top and the front panel and raise the top. The heater is on the back wall. The part number for the t-stat and thermal cut-out kit is LA-1053 and is about $20.00. Don't forget to clean your vent, and check your blower assm. Either one could have caused the problem.

SOURCE: Fuse

Model He4 dryer. Tried to start the dryer, pressed start and nothing except for a click. All the buttons were lit but did not start. I checked out all the blogs and took a chance on changing the thermal fuse. I ordered the part on Ebay (part number 3392519) for $4 dollars including shipping. When it came in, I took the lower front panel off and replaced the fuse. Dryer works fine.

SOURCE: Fuse

Your belt is broken, the click that you hear is a centrifugal switch that shunts your start button, so we know the motor is running. Check your belt.

SOURCE: Kenmore Dryer-90 Series- Pushed Start button nothing happened

get a meter, unplug the dryer and read out the fuse, pull one of the wires off when you read it out, also when was the last time you cleaned out the dryer?if it's the fuse usually the air isn't moving very well, you need to clean out the duct that the lint filter slides into, vac out the inside of dryer where the motor is and clean out the vent line and make sure the outside vent is clear,if it's a long run from the back of dryer to the outside i use a leaf blower to blow out the vent line, make sure you have 240 coming in at the back of dryer, you could have a blown fuse,if the thermal fuse is good, check the thermostats on the heater box and read out the heater, good luck,if i can help with anything else let me know

Haier gas dryer rdg350aw won't heat up

Let's troubleshoot this issue and find a compatible heating element.

Check the Igniter: The igniter is responsible for lighting the gas burner. If it's faulty, the dryer won't heat. Inspect the igniter for any visible cracks or damage. If needed, replace it.

Thermal Fuse: The thermal fuse is a safety device that cuts off power to the heating element if the dryer overheats. Check if the thermal fuse is blown (no continuity). If so, replace it.
Gas Valve Solenoids: These solenoids control the gas flow to the burner. If they're defective, the dryer won't heat. Test them for continuity using a multimeter. Replace if necessary.

Heating Element: Since you specifically asked about the heating element, let's focus on that. The compatible heating element for your Haier gas dryer model RDG350AW is the Haier Dryer Heating Element (Genuine OEM Part # WE11X27362). You can find it online or at appliance parts stores.

Where is the thermal fuse on Haier Dryer model HLTD600AEW?

The location of the thermal fuse on a Haier Dryer model HLTD600AEW may vary depending on the specific model and design of the dryer. However, in general, the thermal fuse is usually located near the heating element or the exhaust duct. It may be hidden behind a panel or tucked away in a hard-to-reach area. In some cases, it may be necessary to consult the user manual or contact the manufacturer for specific instructions on how to locate the thermal fuse on a Haier Dryer model HLTD600AEW.

My Haier Dryer Model RDE350AW only clicks when I press start button, any suggestions?

Since the start relay is clicking it is likely closing the circuit and sending voltage to the dryer motor. You may have a defective thermal limiter fuse blown, it is near the dryer motor so you must remove the back or front of the dryer to access it for testing. Always unplug the dryer before any work is done. You will need a DVOM meter (about $10.00) to check the fuse for continuity.

Roper dryer wont start, do it have a reset button

Check the door switch. With the door open, press the button in and the light should go off. If you don't have a light, listen for a click form the switch as you push and release it. If you don't hear a click, you will need to replace the switch. If the switch is good, then problem will be with the thermal fuse located on the rear of the unit.

Sensor light comes on when you push the start button but does not start spinning

This is a problem commonly caused by a blown thermal fuse due to a faulty thermistor or cycling thermostat depending on the model of the dryer. The thermal fuse is located on the blower housing and wired in series with the motor. The motor cannot therefore run when the thermal fuse blows open and no dryer functions works.

Unplug the dryer then remove the bottom panel and the lint duct and check continuity of the thermal fuse. You can also bypass the thermal fuse for troubleshooting purposes. Check for blocked lint filter and restricted vent system if the thermal fuse is indeed blown then replace it including the thermistor/cycling thermostat. Dryer clicks when start button pushed but does not start.

A quarter was lodged on the thermal fuse , located below the lint screen on the blower exhaust housing, on our dryer. Remove the front lower panel , 2 screw, and you'll see 2 fuses. I suspect that our control board is burnt.
