Pressing Search on the iPhone is only half the task. There is a button on the IHF1000 that also needs pressing straight after. After they shake hands, you enter the PIN code. The button often has a the Bluetooth symbol on it.

Your blueant should be flashing fast right now and your iphone should be able to find it.
complete the pairing by selecting the blueant headset on your iphone and enter the code "0000"

you have to make sure that bluetooth is turned on.
go to your home screen, touch settings, then general, then bluetooth, make sure the bluetooth switch is set to on.
Then follow your directions for the your headset for pairing, usually it involves holding the power button down for so many seconds, then it will enter a "pairing" mode where the headset is able to be seen by phones.
Once that happens it should pop up on the bluetooth page of the iPhone and it will ask for the devices password. Most devices the default password is 1111.
