Color Wheel installation

Maybe your color wheel breaking up, if hit goes no picture or might be the lamp. If color wheel you can see it if you remove the back panel (UNPLUG TV FIRST) it's next to the lamp. Color wheel cost
Appox. $100 & If Blub Cost $75-$100 both can be bought online. Shop by you model #. If not sure what your doing call TV service Tech.

the new wheel is an air bearing type. you need to remove the jumper from cn810 on the dmd board. this will fix your color problems.

Hi,since you are getting the new silver air pressure version you will need to put an jumper to the dmd board,why because gold version spins different than sliver and that will produce the tv to have color discoloration or bluryness.Good luck and God bless you!

That model is a plasma TV? Plasma TV's don;t use color wheels. Only the DLP sets do.

Sounds like the color wheel may have also gone bad. I recently saw a 56" Samsung where the bulb and color wheel went at the same time. The color wheel could produce a crying noise while trying to spin up.

you got sent the wrong color wheel, You will definatly need a 7 segment whhel for your model.Your color index will be off with the 6 segment wheel and you wont be able to index it correctly

Ours was on the color wheel. I also went to samsungparts.com and entered my tv model number and we could veiw the color wheel. However, the one we needed is back orders . I hope your is not.

I am having the exact same issue with the exact same TV. They no longer make that color wheel, so I am looking for a replacement part as well.
