First of all, lift rear axle off the ground and place blocks or jack stands underneath. Check to see if you have 36 volts On your batteries. Now you want to run a jumper across the big cables on the solenoid. Press the accelerator and the motor should engage. Clicking is a pretty sure sign that the solenoid is bad. Please let me know if this is useful. I can further elaborate more troubleshooting if this doesn't solve your problem.

Ezgo golf cart bucked then died. new batteries and solenoid. What happened?

Does solenoid still click? If it does then I would check the motor wires to see if they are still connected. If ok then I would check the forward/reverse switch assuming you have a Lever type mounted on the body of the cart.

Ezgo 36 volt buggy i have 2 one in good running order other one not going now solenoid not clicking have swwapped solenoid and controller to good running cart and it works problem cart still problem

Hope it's fixed by now. If the solenoid is not clicking then one of your switches is bad or wiring. Check the key switch, forward/ reverse micro switch, and the switch in the floorboard that is connected to the gas pedal.

I have a 2001 EZGO 36 volt electric cars I change the solenoid the tightened forward reverse switch it ran great motor is doing what it was before it is shaking and won't move forward or reverse.

Electric golf cart won't run on cold mornings. I hear solenoid click but nothing happens. When the temp warms up, it runs normal. I replaced controller, solenoid, speed control and ITS & switch.

What kind of cart is this and what year and model?
Ezgo, Club Car?

Gas 2007 Ezgo has new battery but won' crank. Clicks in forward and buzzes in reverse

Sounds like bad solenoid or starter, but you may get better answers by posting in the correct section. This is for cars and trucks.

Need to know what kind of cart you have. Ezgo, Club Car?

36 volt, 48 volt ? for ezgo look at manuf. code, for club car serial number has the year. Then maybe we can figure out something.

2008 honda cbr 600rr won't start a clicking sound from the starter solenoid relay

Sounds like a bad solenoid...BUT - Make SURE the battery is fully charged!! - using a short screwdriver CAREFULLY jump the two big main threaded studs on the solenoid ..(wire from battery stud and the stud with wire going to the starter)(sparks WILL FLY so don't do this near open gas containers or fumes!!) .. when you jump the solenoid - if it tries to start, its the solenoid... IF not.. you need to check all the connections, have the battery checked by a battery shop to see if the amperage is up to snuff..(you can have 12+ volts but no amperage to push the voltage).. this would indicate a bad battery.
Do this, repost the results.

2008 sl awd Nissan Rogue, won't start Battery seems to have power making a clicking sound may be starter, having hard time finding starter location.

Know this problem was posted several years ago, but having same issue with my 2008 Nissan Rogue. We've tried everything short of having the battery replaced, (including charging it), and nada. So, tomorrow morning, that'll be our next move. Sucks, but best thing to die. Much rather than than an alternator, starter or solenoid.

1970s Harley-Davidson 3 wheel golf cart with Tilston carb with a fixed high speed jet and a t bar low speed adjustment on top of the carb what is the factory settings or base line. Is it 3/4 out or is it 1 1/2 out or could it even be 2 full turns out for low speed setting ? Thanks

Golf cart is sluggish going up hill with fully charged batteries. It is a 36v ezgo. The batteries are old but runs ok on flat pavement. I have not tested batteries but water is up to snuff
