Question about Washing Machines
It stopped working with a load of clothes in it and I had to manually open the door. I replaced the door latch sensor.
try turning the timer knob/programme selector dial round to a black dot, switch appliance off then back on again. the red light should flash once, then pause, then twice then pause then three times. the appliance should now be reset and your door should open, if not there could be a fault on the main pcb control unit.
hope this helps

replace entire door lock assembly ..remove spring holding the door boot in place and roll boot back ..unless you have the one where the seal is glued then carefully slide knife under edge to cut through glue take the screws from lock and pull through opening remove wires and install new lock ..if noise is only issue use till it blows then replace

This worked for me. I turned off the washer and hit the area on the washer directly to the right of the door handle (not hard enough to break something or cause a dent). It popped right open.

Testimonial: "Thank you for the manual, it helps me take off the top cover, but I am still in the same problem. But thank you all the same"
