My new vtech cordless phones says noline what can that be ?

Welcome to FixYa!
It means that there is no telephone line connected.
  • Check the telephone cable if it is properly connected in your phone and on the wall socket.
  • Check if the telephone cable from your phone to the wall socket is not damaged.
  • It also possible that the telephone line from your wall socket to the post is damaged or cut off.

How do i connect it to the tv

The Vtech consoles connect to a composite video input on a TV. (This is the one with a yellow, red and white RCA plug on each end of the cable. The yellow carries the video; the other two connectors carry the audio.) The cable is not included in the package (at least with the V.Smile V.Motion unit). However, you should make sure the unit works before connecting it to the TV. (Make sure the power light glows when you press the On/Off button.)

For an older TV that only has an RF connector (coax), you need a RF modulator that converts the composite video to RF. These are sold at many shops with electronics. Most new TVs will have at least one composite and one component video input.

Manuals for most Vtech products are here: http://www.vtechkids.com/support_manuals.cfm .

I hope this helps.

(I have a lot of extra composite video cables around since they came with VCRs and DVD players; if you don't have one, any store will have them in section with cables for electronics. You do not need the most expensive one.)

I bought a vtech v flash used....no adapter or cable came with it, i would like to know what to purchase

Make sure it's not second hand. Sometimes if second hand then the seller might have did something to the wire so just sold the vtech v flash.

Phones stopped working. They only read

first step is to unplug all power and phone connections from the wall for all Vtech phones and bases.

Second, plug each set and base in the wall for power one at a time.

Go back to the basics and pair the handset with the base of the unit.

Do this for all sets one at a time.

Phones stopped working. They only read

I'm not familar with the Vtech but I would suspect that all 4 units work off of the answering machine base. It sounds like it is seeing a dial tone.
Take a working phones like the wall phone, if it is easily removed, and use a known good connecting cable between the good wall phone and the jack that the Vtech is plugged into.
If that works, take the connecting cable loose and replace it with the Vtech connecting cable. If that works check the jack on the Vtech for crossed wire. If non found, connect it to the jack the wall phone was plugged into. If this doesn't provide satisfaction, let me know exactly what you did and what happened and we will go from there.

Phones stopped working. They only read "connecting"

The phones need to be unregistered and then re-registered, which you can find in the troubleshooting section of your User Mannual or go to theis webpage http://www.scribd.com/doc/4088938/Vtech-i6789-phone-manual-i6789-manual-i3
