This may not be well received, but there really isn’t one. Yes, there is less chance of a regulated pesticide on the spices prior to harvest, but in their place will be less tightly regulated “organic” pesticides and fertilizers (ex, pyrethrin, which is allowed because it is a plant product.

That all said, if you feel more comfortable ingesting trace amounts of organic pesticides versus trace amounts of synthetic pesticides, and are also okay paying more for the privilege, that is your prerogative. I think you will get more “bang for your buck” by buying fresh (versus dried/ground) spices, and washing them when you get them home, or even growing your own inside (where pest control is not nearly so much an issue).

Organic herbs are preferable to non-organics because they are not grown using chemical fertilizers or chemical pesticides. Chemicals can leave residues on plant matter, and work their way into the plant's roots, leaves, stems, flowers or bark, and this means that they can reach your body if you were to ingest them.

Suggestions for some natural pain relief remedies

Chronic pain is a very difficult and stressful thing to be living with. And although pain medication still remains the most popular way to treat pain, there are thousands of natural pain relief remedies out there that might help you avoid the drugs.

Why is pain medication bad for you?
Pain medication is sometimes unavoidable, but you need to know that there are consequences for taking medication. All painkillers contain ingredients that can, if used incorrectly or too often, cause damage to your organs.
Pain medication related side effects is one of the major causes of people having to show up at the ER every year.
Also, pain medication brings with it the risk of addiction. People find it hard to believe that something as innocent as a pain relief tablet could lead to a drug habit but it has happened to millions of people.

Okay, so that's the bad news.... now here's some tips for using natural rememdies as an alternative:
Alternative therapies
Reflexology and acupuncture can be a great tool in pain control. As pain causes stress and muscle tension, both these types of therapies not only have been shown to reduce pain levels but also aid relaxation and stress reduction.

Herbs and spices
if you look online you'll see that there are many basic herbs and spices that are used in every day cooking that can help act as anti-inflammatories. Examples are Tumeric and Ginger.
Or Fish oil which can help with joint pain.

Water
Other alternatives to pain medication include massages and any interaction with hot water, such as hot tubs, jacuzzi or just resting an aching body in a swimming pool.

In summary, before you hit the bottle of painkillers just think that there might be a natural alternative which you could try first, which will not only help you with pain but also be gentler on your body.

Why do you not sell tarragon

For the same reason we don't sell parsley, sage, rosemary, or thyme. FixYa is an online technical support site, not a spice/herb merchant.

What is a spice grinder?

A spice grinder, also called an "herb grinder", "is a cylindrical device with two halves (top and bottom) that separate and have sharp teeth or pegs aligned in such a way that when both halves are turned, material inside - typically herbs and spices for cooking or more commonly for tobacco is shredded, resulting in a product that burns more evenly and improves easiness of rolling when preparing a hand rolled cigarette and improves texture and flavor of spices. Herb grinders are typically made of either metal or plastic and come in a variety of colors and polished metals."

I have a bottle of white rum at home. How can I turn it into spiced rum?

Begin by pouring your rum into an air-tight container (perhaps a mason jar). Then add a selection of your favorite herbs and spices and let the mixture sit for a while. Which herbs/spices you choose are up to you; however my personal favorite combinations are orange peel, cinnamon sticks, cloves, nutmeg, ginger and peppercorns.
