All lights flashing, cant get cd's out

You may have a load / eject motor issue.

That being said there should be a pinhole to eject the CD. Straight out a paper clip and insert into the hole and press the manual eject button

C990-C994 3rd drawer lift up and 3rd drawer elevator motor failure.Check the actuators and two motors .
Removal of the 3rd drawer:
1.Press the paper descent key and slide the 3rd drawe out to the front.If pressing the paper descent key does not allow you to slide out the 3rd drawer,insert a screwdriver or similar object trough the hole in the rear cover and unlock the drawer.
2.Remove 4 screws on the slide rails and pull the 3rd drawer out to the front.
3.Unplug 1 connector,loosen 2 thumbscrews to remove the connector board assy and remove the 3rd drawer.
4.Remove 4 screws,unplug one connector and remove the cover.
5.Remove two screws and the drive bottom cover.
6.Check the gears.

Since you own a copy of the game, it is legal for you to go and download a No-CD crack. There should be many online, simply go to google and type in the Name of the game and No-CD crack. You should be able to find one, they also typically come with instructions on how to use them.

It's most likely the draw belt that moves the drawer in/out.
Belt is cheap but opening the unit might not be.

Seems like you have damaged laser,

10/6/08 Update.
Solved the problem myself.
Repositioned the printed circuit board with the CD Drawer open/close limit switch.
I suspect that the board shifted during shipping and failed to trigger the closed drawer position.
Player is now working.
