Hi there, At some point during the process you copy of windows came corrupt- could be a result of improper updating, and sometime it windows itself. I forget which os but I remember this happening with an update- anyway if you keep getting the screen of ***** you need to reinstall windows from a flash drive or cd or whatever means you have to install it. It is also possible that you may need a new hard drive. Keep in mind that with many updates of many devices it usually accesses the memory to write the updated information to and if it looses power during the process it could damage the drive. Reinstall windows and be ready to buy a new drive. You can download windows 10 for free any other i think you need a key code to download. good luck

When booting up to Win XP you may get a error that reads "Unmountable Boot Volume". This is probably because your boot.ini file is messed up.
You should be able to restore your windows installation.

SOURCE: computer was working earlier, turned off unit - later tried to turn it on but it won't work
first if u have an ups disconnect the system from that and test the system directly from mains,
If not u disconnect the powerswitch from the m/b and direct short the pins in m/b.
2. even it is not working u check the system with another SMPS
Was this helpful to u pl give the rating
Thanks

Backup your important info, then order your recovery disks through the manufacture and do a COMPLETE restore...

What operating system are you using? Windows XP? What was the last thing installed? IE7 or regular Windows updates. Assuming Windows 2000 or higher, press F8 every couple of seconds during the initial boot process. Select "Safe Mode". Once at the desktop you have a couple of options depending on your configuration. Attempt "Start", "Programs", "Accessories", "System Tools", "System Restore". Following the prompts, choose the latest date in bold prior to the lastest installed software. If system restore is off, choose "Start", "Control Panel", "Add / Remove Software", remove IE7 or latest installed software.
