Talk to the people at Les Schwab, or any other new tire dealer, that is close to you...they may be sales people, but if they're Pro.'s....they know what they're talking about...good luck

SOURCE: Will BMW e92 17 inch alloys fit my e60 5 series. Tyre size on the e92 wheels are 225 40 17. I currently have standard 16 inch wheels

They will if the bolt pattern and the height of your old tires are the same as the new rims side by side so roll one next to your car if it's the same height yes your golden don't forget to check the bolt pattern

Schwinn 12 Roadster trike-handlebar does not fit into fork steer. Handlebar & fork have approx. same circumference, so can't slide it in. Is the handlebar defective & needs to be replaced? Thanks!

I assume you mean the handlebar stem does not fit into the fork steerer. Approximately the same diameter is not good enough. The stem has to be the correct size for the fork. The two most likely sizes are 22.2mm and .833 inches (21.15mm). Most stems have the size stamped near the bottom. There's a good chance your trike has a .833 steerer. Stems for that size are still available.

How do i replace rear wheel bearings on a schwinn meridian trike?

Your trike probably has cartridge bearings. If so they are a press fit, and need to be pushed out, and then replaced with a bearing that is exactly the same size (type will be printed on the bearing face). It's important to push the new bearing in carefully.

Hello I have a Nissan maxima 97 model with tyres dimension: P205/65R15 with 5 bolts... My Question? would the tyres KUMHO 352 with rims diameter"16 fits fits on them? please help ty

U need to work on your question a little I think are you asking if 16 inch wheels and tires will fit your Nissan or are you asking if 16 inch tires will hold air on a rim with a 1/2 inch gap between the two? I f you are putting 16 inch wheelson are they uni lug? What were thewheels made for?
do they have the same back spacing do u have the right lug nutts for the wheels and car? Are your lug studs long enough.
There is alott of things that could be different when you change a wheel. Other than height clearance.

Tire size on my vehicle 225/75/R16 that needs to be replaced. I have access to 235/70/R16, can I put these on?

225 is the width of tread
75 is the profile(thickness of tyre from the wheel to the road)
R is radial(you knew that)
16 is the wheel size it will fit
so ...1cm wider...5mm thinner...
your speedo will read faster by about 2mph...
fit em anyway...

What tires can fit a 1999 ford expedition xlt

I believe it will fit. If you go to you can use their site for alternate tire sizes. Especially handy is the feature which shows you the Speedometer error for different size tires. The site will also show you recommended and popular substitute tire and wheel sizes.

The 1999 model had a 265/65/17 as an alternative. You may want to ask the Tire store you intend to use if they can reconfigure your Speedo to be accurate. Some of the Fords can be done electrically without changing Speedo gears.

I did something similar by going from a "60" series to a "65" series in the same width. On my Grand Marquis, I gained 5% mileage improvement, but have to watch Speedo until I get it reconfigured. I hope this helps to answer your questions.

My car's weel 16 inch can i chenge to 15 inch? ford mondeo 2002

hi, yes you can change the size of the wheels with no problems but please be aware that changing the size will mean your speedo is slightly off to combat this ford sell different drives for the gear box that sort this out. Its not essential to do this but remember putting smaller wheels on will mean your speedo saying say 30 but you will actually be doing 29 so its not a major difference the only time people have problems is when they put bigger wheels on say putting 19s on in place of 16 then you might get flashed by speed camera's as you will be going faster than your speedos says but in your case this wont be a problem.

Hi i bought a 2000 beetle and i wonder if anyone could tell me what size alloys come as standard on it. Its been fitted with 18 inch alloys and i think this is causing my speedometer to be incorrect.

The proper size is 16 this is the genuine size of the wheels the bigger wheels will alter the speedo but if you go to a car spares shop you will be able to buy a speedo drive that compensates for the different size wheels so this option would be cheaper than replacing all the wheels so i would get this looked at first.
