I have a hino truck 268 and recently the light level antifreeze start show ,the level is OK in the reservoir tank but inside the radiator is low what cause of this

you could have a leak in the system. get the system pressure tested and checked for leaks. if no leaks are found it could be burning coolant.

Water failure to engine vstra 1.6 16v 1999

There are several possible causes. Start with the cheapest solution.

1. If you are using water instead of anti-freeze, the water will boil and will get pushed into the overflow tank. Replace the water with anti-freeze.

2. The radiator cap could be bad, allowing hot coolant to exit the radiator and flow into the overflow tank. Have the cap tested or just replace it. It's a cheap item.

3. A leaky head gasket is allowing combustion gases to pressurize the cooling system, which pushes the coolant past the radiator cap. You can easily diagnose this by carefully removing the radiator cap and, with the engine running, observing if there is a continuous stream of bubbles in the coolant. These bubbles are exhaust gas, and you will need to replace the head gasket.

Where to put coolant in 98 chevy blazer

IF THERE IS NO RADIATOR CAP ON TOP OF THE RADIATOR, YOU SHOULD SEE A SMALL HOSE TO THE TOP OF THE RADIATOR FOLLOW THAT TO ONE SIDE OR THE OTHER, THERE WILL BE A WHITE OR YELLOWISH CONTAINER ON THE WHEEL WELL, WITH A CAP ON TOP! IT USUALLY HAS COOLANT PRINTED ON IT! THAT IS WHERE YOU CAN PUT THE COOLANT!

No heat at idle

radiator coolant level and overflow tank low fill overflow tank to max remove radiator cap top off coolant level, start car and let it warm up for 5 or 10 minutes, if fluid level drops top off radiator with coolant again check for heat output if OK replace cap DONE else have someone increase engine RPMs (around 3500rpm) top off coolant level (there was air in system) replace radiator cap

I have a 2007 nissan xterra. When I stop at a light or idle, the heater blows cold air. When I increase the RPM's the heater air warms up again. What could be the problem?

your coolant level is low in the overflow tank/pressure tank. the pressure tank is right by the washer fluid fill cap. its the white tank right behind the washer fill cap, which is blue. make sure you dont open the overflow tank when vehicle is hot. add coonalt into the white tank. you can seethrough the tank. the tank is glued together from 2 sections. lower and upper. you can see the seam when you look at it. fill coolant so its above the seam. that will do it.

The coolant from the coolant tank overflows often.my mechanic showed me a overflow tube running from the tank. is my mechanic screwing around with me? he also showed me a rubber tube running from the...

i"ve never heard of engine overflow tubes...but bikes do have overflow tubes from the coolant tanks. Coolant should not overflow from the tank unless under extreme heat conditions.eg: idling for long periods and constant stop and go traffic. If your bikes coolant system hasn't been serviced in the last two years you might want to do that. also i would change out thermostat and also make sure that your fan is turning on..if its overflowing the fan should be on because the thermostat sends a signal to turn the fan on.
