SOURCE: I'm getting no sound from my htr-5450 reciever
Check the "speaker selector" on the front panel. Make sure A, B, or both are lit up. Also, make sure the "6 ch input" is"off" it's a button right below the volume knob on the right If it's still not working, post a comment and I'll help you troubleshoot further. Hope this helps

SOURCE: factory settings
I only found this on the manual
"...
if the power is cut for more
than one week, the parameter value you edited will
return to the factory setting."

SOURCE: how do i reset my yamaha dx 100 back to original factory settings
yamaha dx100 reset. Press voice switches 1 and 2 while turning power switch on. Display will say test entry?. press the plus/yes button. This will reinitialize all memory to factory settings. Also the lithium ram backup battery voltage will be displayed as check level with a number representing the battery voltage. The number will be 10 times the actual battery voltage. A new battery will display 33 representing 3.3 volts. If your reading is below 22 then your battery is shot and will need replacing and if you turn the unit off it will probably get a scrambled memory again.
