Our integrated Miele fridge stopped working after a brief power cut.We replaced the fuse but unfortunately the fridge did not come back to life. Any advice on a likely cause would be much appreciated?

Give the door a firm push shut (even if it appears shut already). There is a safety mechanism that stops the door opening when drum is turning and it gets its knickers in a twist sometimes. Happened to me twice in the last 5 years and can never remember how to fix so end up ringing Miele support who are always helpful. Next time I'll look here first!

have you checked that the water inlet pipe is not kinked or that it is turned on. some models have water pressure sensors and wont work on low pressure supplys

beneath the freezer usualy installed timer and a fan look for a hidden screw on the sides...check the fan bushing f its lose or has a clearance change it f not check for the timer if its busted...replace.. becareful...electric shock can kill

I am guessing this is a "three way fridge" 12 volt, 240 volt and lpg gas.

This is an absorbtion refrigerator and it uses heat to drive the cycle.
The things to do are;
Clean the gas jet, Piezio starter and thermocouple.
Also clean the rust, carbon and scale away from the heater tube and chimney.
Hopefully all will be good again
