How do you change electric cord on commerical panini grill

From the Owners Manual:

Before cleaning, switch the grill off at the on/off button, switch off at the power outlet and unplug. Allow your Professional Grill to cool before cleaning. The appliance is easier to clean when slightly warm. Always clean your Professional Grill after each use to prevent a build up of baked-on foods. Wipe cooking plates with a soft cloth to remove food residue. For baked on food residue squeeze some warm water mixed with detergent over the food residue then clean with a non abrasive plastic scouring pad.

HAVE YOU TRYED THE FUSE IN THE PLUG

The knob used for use of the position plates has come completely come apart. Please help. This is the second time I have had trouble with this product. I need a repair picture with instructions on how to put this back together.

As I understand panini's, they are essentially a sandwich grilled on both sides in a press-type of grill - - precisely what this is.

Cooking time will depend on the thickness of the panini.
