SOURCE: need Wiring Schematic/Diagram for 89 Astro GT16 boat

In all honesty, its probably impossible to get the original wiring diagram. Also, I would be willing to bet that there has been alot of re-wiring and changes made to the wiring and electrical system of the boat. If you describe exactly what your trying to do, install fix or re-wire I may be able to better assist

SOURCE: what size motor for a 1970 15ft. seaswirl boat

motor hp is determined by the design of the boat and all boats built have a max hp that can be fitted to them to get a certification of sea worthyness
most 15 ft boats are have a max of 40 hp but as stated it depends on the certificate for the boat
20 hp on calm water ( lakes dams inshore would be ample) but for off shore work then a 40 would be more suitable
remember that besides the motor , the propeller selection pitch has a lot to do with performance as well
Best advice --talk with accredited boat shops as they have a very good idea of what would suit the boat and conditions
