I have a brand new Verizon Moto e5 play... I want to put my straight talk SIM card in it... When I put my sim card in the phone it says I must put in a code to switch carriers even tho the Verizon phones come unlicked... After reviewing my user guide and entering the 2 codes given 000000&123456 it still says I need a code to switch carriers... I called Verizon who said that if I wanna activate my phone on my straight talk account I have to call straight talk to activate the phone... I called straight talk and they said call Verizon to activate the phone because there was a restriction on it but according to Verizon any card any phone. Comes with a SIM card available slot it's already unlocked and all their 4G LTE phones already unlocked what do I do

Verizon phones are Network locked. You would have to contact them for the unlock code

Unless you're Verizon phone has been unlocked. If it isn't, then it's carrier locked and won't work until it's unlocked.

Yes you can,however you will need to contact AT&T first to get the Network Unlock Code Key. Once the phone is unlocked,call Straight talk so they can activate their service on your AT&T phone and you may use your sim card then.

Yes you need a new SIM, call your service provider for that. You can also visit one of their retail outlets to get the needed SIM card.

yes you do not have ot give straight talk any info about yourself you do not have to buy anything other then their activation kit its 60 dollars and comes with a 45 $ card. you just need to tell them you would like to bring your moto g to straight talk you have b ought the activation kit and would like to set up a new number and when they ask for your address email and other info just say i would like to not give out any personal info. I work retail and deal with this all the time.

i dont think so because straight talk has there own company. thats why walmart is the only one who sells their refill cards. that's like since they use verizon towers you can take a straight talk phone and change it to a verizon service but you cant take a verizon phone and change it to straight talk.
