If the fan is working there may be ice build up causing the air channel for the air from the freezer to the fridge is blocked try a full defrost over night empty with doors open,if works great, but if it reoccurs then there is a problem with the defrost

It sounds as if one of 2 things could be your problem. In the freezer compartment remove ice maker. Remove the rear panel around condenser fan. If the fan is running then you have ice build up. Use a heat gun or hair dryer to remove all the ice. Take a piece of#14 bare wire to clean drain hole. With the fridge off pour some hot water in the drain. It will either be the fan or ice buildup.

SOURCE: noisy F&P fridge freezer
Most of f&p make this noise its most annoying, but could also be ice buildup on the fan blades, creaking and cracking is normal as the pipes expand and contract is these thin foamwall fridges, not nice fridges, insulation has been compromised to lower cost, they work twice as hard at keeping cool

Check the damper in the top back of the fresh food section. make sure that it is open and air is coming through it.

Pull out the fridge and unplug. Remove the back cover. Clean the condenser coils and fan. If they're difficult to get to, use compressed air to blow out. (you can get a can from walmart). That should fix the problem. If that doesn't work, then write back.

Hi Simon I saw that problem because you have a hole in the bottom of the freezer connecting directly on the wall of the fridge you need to block it ... because the air flow directly from the freezer 2 the fridge . Hope it was helpful.

Check the back wall of the freezer compartment for ice buildup. Sounds like you have a defrost issue.
