Ok, we have fuel, do we have compression? and do we have spark? These are the main three requirements. Check these two things and see if you can start your unit.
Good Luck Friend.

SOURCE: how to clean boat carburetor

Carburetors are tricky, They have to be completely dismantled, soaked in carb cleaner, make sure all the gunk is off, every jet clean and clear, If you can't get a wire through it, you won't get gas through it, make sure you can blow through it, Get some guitar strings, .009 is about the smallest guitar string you will find, you can buy them separately at the music store if you don't have one. Change the filter in the line, when the carbs go back on, the adj all have to be the same, not one wide open and 2 idleing, Float level is also important, they don't sell complete kits anymore, you have to buy the parts individually, gaskets , etc, good luck.

Craftsman snowblower will not start

Dump out the old gas and put in new.Try a spray of starting fluid into the carb. If it will not fire on the starting fluid there is somthing wrong in the ignition system. Pull out the spark plug and clean it with a wire brush. If it still won't fire the points and condensor need to be replaced.

Gas leak when I put the scooter on the kickstand

I own an Andretti M50 and I had 2 different gas leak problems, and neither was a stuck float.
- the gas filter that comes with the bike is a 2-piece screw together unit and the gasket between the 2 pieces leaks gas down onto the cylinder!
I replaced with a $3 one piece from Pep Boys.
- the second leak the gas just poured onto the ground. It was caused by poor design and tight tolerances where the fuel line attaches to the carb. The fuel line would get guillitoned every time you hit a bump by the engine swinging the carb tight against the frame. I rotated the carb in its manifold away from the frame. (you have to cut the nubs off the carb manifold to rotate it).

Cant start bike after standing for 6 weeks even with new battery

Check to see if you're getting a strong blue spark at the plugs. If the spark is there, ensure you have good fuel in the tank and fuel flows from the petcock when you open it. If your fuel is good and flowing, you could try using a spray bottle to spray a little gas into the throat of the carburetor. If the bike fires after spraying the gas into the carburetor, there's a good chance your floats may have stuck in the up position. You will need to at least take the float bowls off and clean the floats and needles.

Snowthrower. Won't even fire. Can I just clean carburetor?

See my tip on diagnosing small engines. It works for 2-stroke or 4-stroke engines.
It is best not to use starter fluid. Aerosol carb cleaner is what I use.

Honda Pressure Washer HP 5 not starting

You can try spraying some carburetor cleaner into the carb. If it starts for a minute, your carburetor need cleaning. When you added new gas did you remove the old gas first? Is the air filter clean?

My 2008 kfx450r wont stay running. when i finally get it started i can pin the throttle wide open for a few seconds but it dies like its not getting fuel please help any info i will take

ALWAYS have a fire extinguisher on hand when working on carburetors.
Open the petcock, (gas valve), and drain 1/2 cup of gas from the tank. Did the fuel flow freely? Is there any water or trash in the cup?

Drain the carburetor. There should be a screw on the lower right side of the carb float bowl. Remove the screw then replace it after the fuel drains. Turn the gas back on and wait a minute for the carb to fill with gas. Install a new stock NGK spark plug and try to start the engine. If the bike doesn't start and run properly then shut off the gas and remove the carburetor from the engine.

Remove the float bowl and clean the entire carb with a spray carb cleaner from the auto parts store. Wear protective goggles to avoid getting spray in your eyes. Spray into all the little airways and fittings in the carb. Check the float height. The fuel level in the bowl may be low. Bend the tang (in the center of the float) downward to raise the fuel level. EASY, a little bend goes along way.
Put the carb back together, clean the air filter and install the carb. Let the float bowl fill then start the engine.

Can you help me?

It sounds like condensation in the gas tank has reached a point where water in the gas is a problem.

Drain the carburetors. There should be a screw on the lower side or bottom of each carb float bowl. Remove the screw then replace it after the fuel drains. Remove the water trap bowl at the bottom of the petcock, (gas valve). Is there any water or trash in the bowl? Drain a cup of gas from the tank. Is there any water or trash in the cup? Dump it, clean it and re-mount it, (not all bikes have a water trap bowl). Turn the gas back on and wait a minute for the carbs to fill with gas. If the bike doesn't start and run properly then shut off the gas and remove the carburetors from the engine.

FOR EACH carb > Remove the float bowl and clean the entire carb with a spray carb cleaner from the auto parts store. Wear protective goggles to avoid getting spray in your eyes. Spray into all the little airways and fittings in the carb. Put the carb back together and install. Clean or replace the air filter and install an in-line fuel filter. Let the float bowl fill then start the engine. This process should get you back on the road. ALWAYS have a fire extinguisher at hand when working on carburetors.
