Hi Robyn-
I found this link.
http://www.husqvarnaviking.com/SiteFiles/ClientSite/4b/4b34186a-c25f-4c4a-8d8f-dd58c7e2c801.pdf

On page 3, it talks about "Removing the Bobbin Case" and "Bobbin Winding"

Hope this helps.

SOURCE: viking husqvarna classica 100, thread tension

I suspect you are correctly threading the machine but the timing of the needle and bobbin hook is off. When the threaded needle goes into the bobbin area, a pointed hook grabs the thread and loops it with the bobbin thread. Something is catching when the needle starts to come up that is not allowing the bobbin thread to be pulled back through the needle plate opening by the upper thread. With machine threaded and bobbin in place, have the bobbin area open if possible and watch the thread interaction when the needle goes down. To set the hook/needle timing, normally covers have to be removed. Suggest taking it to an authorized Husqvarna Viking dealer for service. You can find the nearest dealer by click on the "Dealer" link at http://www.husqvarnaviking.com
Good luck.

Yes, these parts should be replaced. Original parts are only available from an authorized Husqvarna Viking Dealer. The service/repair is very intense and should be performed by a certified Husqvarna Viking service technician through the Dealer. Husqvarna Viking Classica 100 sewing machine Service Manual please?

Question edited for clarity and correct order of make model.
Question moved for Cars and Trucks category.

Unfortunately there isn't one. Owner manual only. Service agents are factory trained, and have online resources, but generally they already know their way around inside all machines.

Price removed casing round bobbin and inner case to clean fluff , now I carnt seem to line up properly although all slots back the needle won't go down properly .....husqvarna Viking E10 ..man

Remove bobbin case completely and check that the needle will go down properly. If so, put the bobbin case back in lining up the black arrow on the bobbin case (on left hand side) with the metal arm that comes out slightly on the left side. Sometimes, it is tight getting the case back in place properly. Once in place, check that the case will rock back and forth slightly.
Hope this helps.

Check to make sure that the bobbin case is inserted with the finger to the top. Make positive to use the correct bobbins, that unit ONLY uses husqvarna bobbins. They are plastic and thinner than most.
