Onida ultra slim crt tv standby problem , if i switch one the tv set only red led is up but not turning on the tv by remote or manualy , but 110v is ok ,

I'm having the same problem, it keeps changing inputs and pressing buttons and turning off on its own.

Hi I had the same problem with my Hitachi. Finally I found a solution that worked. I didn't have a remote. I held the channel up button on the TV itself. While holding the channel up I then held down the power button at the same time maybe for 10 seconds. Then the TV turned on. I hope that helps. :)

The set do not start up. Your TV need a through check up. Contact any service technician.

many things can cause this, may be a bad compactor. Cheaper to sell it as having this problem and buy a new/used on than have it seriiced
