try using a ruler to check if you have the correct paper size.
open up HP Solution Center verify the printer settings..
use borderless printing, paper size 4 x 6.

Hi,

Please click here and follow the instructions to change scan settings in HP director.

If it does not work uninstall the software and download the full feature software for your printer.

Click here and select your OS and select Full feature software and click on download only.

Hi,

I think you are referring to "crop".
After pasting the picture in MS Word,
You would see "Picture Tools" top tab. Then under "Fomat" you would see "crop" click on it and try editing your picture.

It should reduce the size of your picture and maintain the normal image size.

Photo paper is heavier gauge and this may be showing a problem with the transport or pickup rollers and these may need cleaning.

Go to installed devices and see if your old printer is still listed on your computer; if so, remove it from your install devices and then re-install your new one.

Make sure there is a scanner driver loaded in your computer. The printer driver only will not work the scanner

Please try making a COLOR COPY of a document or photo. Does it print ?

I have just got a new HP 1050 Deskjet J410 Series printer. I am not able to increase or reduce a document when copying. What do i need to do?

Press Copy until Reduce/Enlarge appears in the top line of the dis
The following options are available in the Reduce/Enlarge menu.
you will have three choices.
Reduce/Enlarge
Actual Size
Custom 100%
Full Page 91%
Legal > Ltr 72%
Also:
Use Photo Fit to Page when you want to automatically enlarge your original
photo to fill the printable area of the paper size loaded in the paper tray.
Photo Fit to Page only enlarges original photos that are standard photo sizes. The
standard photo sizes are as follows:
• 3.5 by 5 inches (9 by 13 cm)
• 4 by 6 inches (10 by 15 cm)
• 5 by 7 inches (13 by 18 cm)
• 6 by 8 inches (15 by 20 cm)
• 8 by 10 inches (25 by 25 cm)
For originals containing text or photos that are not a standard size, use Reduce/
Enlarge.

How can I change tray 3 from legal to letter-size paper? Changing the obvious printer properties and preferences does nothing. Tray 1 (single sheet feed) Tray 2 (250 sheet capacity) Tray 3 (250 sheet capacity) optional add-on which is supported by this printer.

Model 110 Plus. What causes axis drive motor to attempt return, then stop? Printed a few A4 sheets, no problem. Installed roll A1 and upon turn on, the carriage goes to the left, returns to the right, takes the start position and stops.
