Need to know if a part I found after I disassembled. And reassembled my shark professional liftaway navigator vacuum is critical . It's a white rubber gasket of some kind, half moon shaped

The gasket sounds like one between the motor housing and a detachable dirt cup. You didn't include a model number so it's hard to get into specifics, but if it is this gasket I'm speaking to - suction power will suffer and or dirt / dust will leak out. If a different gasket - it may not be noticeable to you that anything is wrong - but gaskets are usually critical components that are used to fill gaps that might otherwise allow dirt, water, dust etc. into spaces where it shouldn't.

I own the shark steam mop S3501CO the light comes on the tank gets warm but no steam comes out

I posted this solution explaining how to clean the heater core.

Based on what I found when I disassembled my S3501 it would be very hard to clear heavy mineral deposits by just squirting CLR or vinegar soak.

3) motor need repair.
4) test the thermal fuse
