When i pump the ball to put fuel in carb it will push the fuel to about 2 inches from the carb and no farther no matter how hard i squeeze help pls.

You should have one of two things wrong.
Either you have an blocked fuel passageway, like a stuck needle valve or float, which is not allowing the fuel to go farther, or a defective bulb you are squeezing. Try disconnecting the fuel line at the carburetor and pump the fuel then with the squeeze bulb, see if it comes out of the line. Then, try blowing into the carburetor through the fuel line to see if it is restricted. If it is, you will need the carburetor cleaned.
God bless your efforts.

30 hp evinrude outboard, running full throttle, then surges as if running out of gas. Will conk out if not taken back to idle. Whats causing this?

Sounds like air is getting into the fuel line. If you have a squeeze bulb primer check to make sure that it stays firm after you run it a bit. I had an air leak on a clamp attaching the primer bulb to the fuel line and the same thing happened to me. When the engine starts to cut out squeeze the primer bulb and see if it starts running better, if it does then you probably do have an air leak in the line and it is losing it's prime. Hope this helps!

How to replace head lamp?

Replacing the headlamp on your Hyundai resembles replacing a light bulb. Open the hood and just behind the headlamp, you will see a hard plastic cover. Twist the cover to open, allowing access to the bracket that is holding the existing bulb in place. Once you've access to the bracket, you will see it forms a loop. Squeeze the loop together to get it to disengage from the headlamp housing. The headlamp should be easily removed by hand at this point. Replace the bad bulb with it's replacement (try not to over handle the new bulb and handle around it's base whenever possible) and place the housing back into it's corresponding hole. Now reattach the bracket, (again you will need to squeeze it together). Once the bracket it again attached (bulb + housing should be secure, if not repeat last steps until it is tight) replace the hard plastic cover and you're done. Best of luck and thank you for using Fixya!

Left turn signal does not come on

If either of the left turn signals come on (front or rear), the one that doesn't light up probably has a blown bulb or a bad ground. If neither bulb on that side light, you've got other problems. If you'll contact me directly, I'll send you a trouble shooting guide for an earlier model. The wire colors may be different but the trouble shooting should be the same. Contact me at [email protected] and I'll send it in four JPG picture files.

How to change the front turn signal on a 2001 corvette

For the 2001 Corvette it's simple for replacing it. Using a Sylvania yellow bulb, part# 3157NA LL or 4157NA LL

Reach inside the air intake opening just below the turn signal and push the black friction-fit hose back and down so it is out of your way. With the fingers of one hand, you can press the top of the black plastic duct (air intake) down to make room for your other hand to squeeze into the opening. Reach inside the hole and locate the wiring harness and lamp socket for the turn signal. The harness is on the bottom of the lamp assembly, so that the bulb is essentially sticking upwards into the reflector housing. Turn 1/4 turn and pull wiring harness out of the opening. Change the bulb and reverse the process. Takes about 4 minutes.

How do I replace the low beam bulbs in the 2009 Toyota Camry Hybrid? I know to get H11 bulbs, and I've replaced headlight bulbs on older cards before...

You should have to get to the back side of the lamp assembly from under the hood. There should be a cap or dust cover with the wires going thru it to the light. 1/4 turn counter clockwise if it is a hard cap-if dust cap squeeze and pull. There should be a clip that looks like a bent paper clip. Squeeze to release. Change the bulb, reassemble

Low beams not working/ got replacements but how do I do it? 2008 Sonata- need a diagram or how EZ covers to unscrew but then what??? I just dont wanna break anything

Just change the bulb from the rear of the headlight assembly. Should be a nylon socket with a squeeze clip lock thing on it. Squeeze, turn, pull. Pull the old bulb out, and push the new one in without touching the glass part with bare fingers. The natural oil on your fingers will cause premature bulb failure.
