Hello -

Please double check for the model number. It will probably be on a small metal plaque on an edge of the oven door, along the outer edge of the oven opening, or in the oven interior. It could also be on the top of the oven and covered by cabinetry.

Undo the screws that hold the oven in and slide it out 6 inches. You may then find the metal plaque on the top of the oven. You may need the help of another person when you try to pull the oven out, so that the oven does not tilt forward and fall to the floor.

You MAY be able to identify your model of Diplomat oven from one of the images of Diplomat oven control panels here:
https://manuall.co.uk/diplomat-select-620-oven/
Page 6 (PDF document image 7). Note: Use the + icon to enlarge the image.

You may find the image of Diplomat oven knob markings here helpful:
https://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/forums/forum/public-support-forums/help-and-support/cooker-and-oven-forum/61498-diplomat-adp4890
Scroll down that page to the post dated 14-12-14 from pslewis333 to see the image.

Once you know which model of Diplomat oven you have, you may be able to find and purchase decals with the proper knob markings for your oven so that you can affix the decals around your oven knobs. Or, you could use heat resistant paint and a small, pointed paint brush to paint the markings on your oven. With either option, I suggest you seal the markings with a heat resistant clear sealant so that cleaning / scrubbing will not erase the markings.

Best wishes.

Some models of Rival crockpots were included in a safety recall due to handles that break. You might want to check www.rivalrecall.com and see if your model and vintage is included.

SOURCE: Replacement Knobs for the Rival Slow cooker

I HAD the problem with the handle snapping off the lid of my oval 6qt lid - until I spent 10 minutes and $2 in the cabinet hardware section of Home Depot. Now I have a stylish silver & white handle on my crock pot lid. The bolt and grommet were re-used, several little tiny o-rings were added as spacers, along with a drop of Loc-tite.

I have misplaced the manual for my oven and I need the self cleaning instructions. Model # RF365PXDQ0 Serial # FE2007966

First remove the racks, broiler pan (complete) and any aluminum foil that is in the oven. Hand clean any large deposits inside the oven. Use a non-abrasive cleanser, not an oven cleaner. Clean around the door frame and the edge of the door (outside of the gasket) with hot water and detergent. Close the door to the oven and make sure there are no plastic utensils near the vent of the oven. Make sure that your kitchen is well ventilated.

Next move the lock lever to the right. Set the Oven Selector and Oven Temperature both to Clean. Make sure that the clock, Start and Stop times are set to the correct time. Then push in and turn the Stop time knob clockwise to 3 hours (normal cycle). Make sure the Start time knob is not pushed in. Now wait for the cleaning cycle to be completed and for the oven to cool down. The lock lever can not be moved back to the left until the oven is cool. Forcing it will break it. Turn the Oven Selector and the Oven Temperature knobs to Off.

The manual is available here: http://www.kitchenaid.ca/assets/pdfs/literature/Use%20and%20Care%20Guide%20-%203189075.pdf . If the direct link doesn't work, start here: http://shared.whirlpoolcorp.com/product_literature/search.jsp?siteCd=WHRCOM and enter the model number and then click Go.

I hope this helps.

Creda Oven Model ESO 210 broken multifunction selector knob

Same thing happened with my Creda ESO 210. The function selector works find. It just doesn't rotate the piece of plastic that has the funtion symbols on it. I contacted the authorised parts supplier in Canada and was told it would cost $90 for the part. After a long wait, the part arrived and it wasn't the correct piece (they'd ordered the little plastic circle with the function symbols on it instead of the knob thingee that moves it). So, if that cost $90, I dread to think what the broken mechanism would cost. So, I gave up and I simply count the clicks from the off position to use my oven. However, if you really want to follow up on this, you can contact www.creda.co.uk.

Diplomat Softline ADP0300 Gas-just not cooking ...anything!

Hi there..
I Just recently had the same problem, also with a diplomat gas oven..
The problem I found was down to a small resetable component under the main cover. ..
It took me ages to find the problem and I had taken the whole electical parts of the oven to bits before 'accidentaly' coming across this 'thermal switch' (located inside the main cover, at the top, behind the display module).. - to reset this there is a tiny red button between the connectors.. press this - and it should all be fine again... : One importnat note is that this may be tripping as a consequence of the fan not running or by my thinking not running on after the oven is switched off, leaving the casing to heat up and then trip this switch component.. - if this component is faulty it can be found in RS components or Farnell components.. look for Thermal swich manual reset part no: L100C 9082 470.

Replacing the element in a diplomat 5706 cooker

Hi.
You will probably have to remove the rear panel of the oven, this is on the outside that I am referring to, and you will see the 2 securing scews for the element, you might have to push the insulation to one side to see the screws.
This should solve your problem.
Please good feedback if this helps.
Thanks.

Diplomat Oven ADP3650 Instructions

User manuals are hard to find.
The problem I had was setting the clock on a single Diplomat oven, with no clock button. Here's my solution :

DIPLOMAT OVEN OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The Diplomat single oven is controlled by two knobs and a set of buttons along the middle of the control panel.
The left knob sets the temperature of the oven, while the right knob selects the function to be performed, e.g. fan oven, grill, etc.
The buttons along the middle set the cooker clock, the start and end times of cooking, and the “+” and “-“ buttons will increase or decrease the time shown on the cooker’s clock.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE OVEN WILL NOT OPERATE UNTIL THE CLOCK IS SET.
If there is any interruption to the power supply (including manually switching off at the main switch) the oven will not operate until the clock is reset.
Here’s how to set the clock:
First press simultaneously the first two buttons to the left of the control panel. They are marked as a Bell symbol (Alarm) , and a steaming Cooking Pot (Start of Cooking Time). Then immediately press the plus “+” or minus “-“ buttons to increase or decrease the time displayed. When the desired time has been reached, leave it for a few seconds, and it will remain set at this time. Any further changes to the displayed time will require this procedure to be repeated.
Hope this helps!
