Question about Candy Dryers
So I want to understand you, you used the drier then turned it off, then you tried using it again but it wouldn't come on. if this is correct then, now you've changed the fuse still nothing. you should make sure there is electric power on the socket, also check the plug-in to see if any wire is loose. get back to me

If your dryer has been fine for sometime and then failed you probably need tech service for a replacement element or motor. Or should you feel qualified, run down the power to your drier including your ground. Your ground wire should NOT be connected to a water pipe. It must be directly connected to your main circuit panel. Then do this. Check for a high load on your motor. If you don't have any then it is shorted in the wiring. That are all the major working parts to your dryer or any dryer. The timers wouldn't cause this.
When a dryer element is carrying a proper load the circuit physics are correct, when the burn out it acts like a direct short and will pop your breaker or will not dry at all. The same is true for your motor. The wiring inside the motor can overheat and the varnish on the wiring wrappings can melt and short.
