a slow cooker just cooks slowly. a roaster oven however roasts food just like in a range oven. they can usually also bake and slow cook also. roasting cooks at a high heat while slow cookers are a lower heat for a longer time. roasters are great to use because the meat tastes really delicious and also the whole kitchen will not get boiling hot like with roasting in the oven.

Baking cakes and quiches

i use the micr-convention mode to bake and preheat it at 200 C ,the cake rises unevenly and falls unevenly .i open to check if the cake is done .why does it rise unevenly and why does it fall ?

According to technican the oven registers 15 degrees above the setting and drops down 40 degrees between going off and coming back up Example, set oven for 350 degrees and it goes up to 365 before it cuts...

There will be some hysteresis.

If the owner's manual does not specify how much, I would contact Frigidaire customer service.

What is the use of crusty plate in ovens. is it useful for veg.please suggest me.

Crusty Plate is used for frozen foods such as pizza, baguettes quiches, and chicken nuggets. Add the food after preheating and activate the Crusty Cook button for deliciously crunchy results.

Dont know what u cook in it

Oh dear you can cook anything in a deep fryer. some sugestions french fries, breaded chicken, breaded or tempera mushrooms, cut mozzarella sticks in half and bread by dipping in egg and rolling in your favorite bread crumbs drop in fryer till brown about 3 minutes at 375-400 degrees and you'll have the best fried mozzarella ever. any sliced and breaded vegetable will cook fast and taste great.

Maybe we can trade ovens!! Mine is in Farenheit and I'm trying to figure out how to put it back in Celsius!!
