The code that came up is for a camshaft sensor. The cam sensor usually controls injector pulse. Pick up a noid light at your local parts store which should be very cheap. Connect noid light to plug at injector and crank vehicle. If the noid light lights up, then you know that you are getting a signal to injectors and your cam sensor is working. If it doesn't light up, it's possible that your new part can be defective ( it is possible). Because you have a Chrysler product and a no start condition, check to see if you have spark causing the no start. If you have no spark, check your crankshaft sensor. Chrysler products are known for crank sensors to go bad. If you have spark, further testing is required. I hope this helps and have a great day.

SOURCE: 2005 Dodge Magnum w/out hemi stalling

I have a 2005 Magnum and was also having this problem. Stalled out a few times and continued to idle rough and feel like it was going to die when I would slow down. At times it would feel like I would get a hesitation and then a surge. Engine light would go on for a day or so, then go out for a few days. First time I took it in, the dealership told me that it was a broken seal (I don't know where), but they replaced it and it continued to happen. The second time I took it to a mom & pop shop, and they told me that it was the oxygen sensor/altimeter, replaced it (only a $35 part), and I haven't had a problem since. That was 6 months ago. Hope this helps...

SOURCE: PO340 CAMSHAFT SENSOR FAILURE

was the sensor you replaced damaged in any way???? or did you replace the sensor and scyncronizer, check circuit for open/shorts,check harness for damages, and routing . keep away from add-on stereo amp wiring, system is prone to RF interferance, worst possible cause will be the PCM, if all else is good...

SOURCE: locating and replacing a camshaft sensor in a 2005 dodge neon

this is a very very simple procedure. you do not need pics. there is a sensor located at the end of the engine on the far side from the belts. at the top. it has a plug with two wires in it. just remove the two 10mm bolts un hook the plug and reverse the process to reinstall. if you have a factory intake you may have to remove it to access this sensor. just the intake tube.

SOURCE: mk4 golf 18t code po340 camshaft sensor a circuit

The system will erase the fault code when the system senses that a component is functioning within three starting cycles. Even if you replaced the cam sensor three times it will store the same code if the wire harness or connector has is not supplying data from the magnetic pickup to the ECU. Until you have isolated why it doesn't read the sensor you'll be stuck with a no start situation.

CODE P0522 - ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SENSOR RATIONALITY. CODE PO340 - NO CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR CIRCUIT FAILURE. REPLACE OIL PRESSURE SENSOR.YOU NEED A CODE SCAN TO ERASE CODES. IF THESE CODES POP UP AGAIN. YOU COULD HAVE PCM PROBLEMS.CMP SENSOR NOT RECEIVING 5 VOLT SUPPLY.
