SOURCE: Ricoh 2051SP error code J013 & SC495

SC495 is a toner recycling system error, due to strain on the system. Most likely due to a blockage. system needs to be removed and thoroughly cleaned. J013, is simply a jam, and this would be happening because of the toner recycling system being locked up, and seizing the motor. You DEFINITELY need a tech for this.

Why is it that am i getting a 585 and a 495 errors simultaneously on two of the same machines

You did not post the model number. I assume it is a larger machine such as a MP9000. The SC495 is a clogged toner hose from the cup to the toner sub-hopper. If the toner system is not clogged it is a bad toner pump, or sometimes it is a bad toner sensor on the sub-hopper or the cup on top of the auger from the toner bank. If the hose is not clogged and there is toner to the top of the sub-hopper then it is one of the sensors. They are identical.

How can it happen, that when switching on a Ricoh mpc4500 and a1357ex, they both blow a fuse. They can not be switched on again. Absolutely dead. Anything to look for in particular? ?

blown fues on the equipment power supply, both have heater should only be on their own circuit MPC4500 draws 15 amps!!

sc495 is a problem with the toner supply system. It may be as simple as a clump of toner clogging up one of the hoses, or it could be a bad toner end sensor or bad motor failing to transport the toner.

Good day!Check the seal inside the tonerpump in the drum..maybe its broken..I think you should buy a new one..

What is a SC495 problem?

Hi
Clear or change the Tubes for Tonertransport, look for the Toner pump.
Often the Seal inside is broken, and u dont get enough toner, mostley
u can hear it, Look at the tonertransport from Tonerbank the coil must
bring enough toner to the collector from where its go to the devbox,
when u have problems with full tubes its better u give new one
because problems will come back to you

SC495 is generally a problem with the toner recycling system in a Lanier copier. Without knowing the specific model, I can't give you any more information. What model copier do you have?

normaly its the toner bank sensors if you have replaced thet check the waste toner clutch if you cant solve it that way vacuum all the toner pipes in some casses they are blocked

check the door contacts and the contacts on the transfer unit these need to be clean also
