Make sure the unit is level, this is very important. Check for blocked drain tube, which runs from the bottom of the drain pan under the cold coil to the outside. Clear tube with a piece of coathanger wire, be gentle.

If its blowing air, but not cold, the compressor isn't engaging. There are many different possibilities on this.
Bad compressor, unit out of gas, bad run capacitor, etc, all could cause this, even a bad control panel.

Hope its something simple.

SOURCE: Fujitsu wall mounted air conditioner.

during Cooling and Dry modes, if the unit is used under conditions of
lower temperature (18C)  the heat-exchanger may freeze, leading to water leakage and other damage.
If the unit is used for long periods under high-humidity conditions, condensation may form on the surface of the indoor
unit, and drip onto the floor or other objects underneath. (About 80% or more)

Increase Temp to 20 and also run coil dry cycle,

I will star checking freon pressure but you going to call an HVAC company to do that. Please turn it off or you will damage the compressor, if is not already.

Why does my portable air conditioner cool for a short period of time and then turn off?
Have you extended the exhaust hose with another? The unit can ONLY be used with the included exhaust hose (dryer type exhaust hoses will cause the unit to over heat).

How close is the unit to the wall? If the unit is only inches away from the wall and you are running the exhaust hose out a window, more than likely their exhaust hose bend is at 90 degrees which restricts air flow. In order for the unit to run more efficiently and not overheat, it should be at least 1-1/2 feet away from the wall and the exhaust hose should not exceed more then a 45 degree angle.
Are you exhausting the unit out a hole in the wall? If so, are you using a flap vent on the exterior of your home/office? The flap may be too rigid and not open continuously. The compressor is not strong enough to push the air through and therefore will only run for a short period of time before overheating and shutting off. You should take the flap off the vent and replace it with a piece of screening.

Are you venting it into a ceiling or basement? Does the ceiling or basement have ample ventilation? If the ceiling or basement does not have a way of pushing the heat from the exhaust to the outside, the unit will work for a short period of time and then eventually overheat and shut off. Central air conditioner leaking water somewhere. Water is going through furnace filter (furnace filter is wet) and ductwork and wetting the ceiling below. What should I look for?

look for a cover that covers the a A coil.take the small 1/4 in screws out and carefully remove the covers or cover if you have access do both sides. my basement has enough room to get to both sides. my house tlr you can only do one side. look for a drain hole blow it out with a air hose or garden hose run a wire if you have to.

Condensate overflows frequently.

Your drain tube is usally under the coila and is sort of hard to access it anyway. There are two things you need to do 1st take a wet/dry vac and hold the hose on the drain tube which will **** out any type of blockage there is (mostly algae) 2nd you need to get some treatment tabs from an a/c supply shop that all you do is place one of these tablets in the drain pan and it will prevent the buildup of algae therefore preventing your clogging issue. Good Luck

Adjusting thermostat temperature

nope. Try bouncing the air off the ceiling instead of pointing it towards the floor. You know the vent grille should be adjustable. The air is just recirculating back into unit and short cycling stat. Create a barrier between supply and return!

Fujitsu, Mitsubishi, Sanyo mini-split indoor fan motors operate continuoulsy. The room-temperature sensor is inside the unit, so the fan motor needs to circulate air continuouly to sense room-air temperature. This is normal operation.

Fujitsu air conditioner - too much humidity

This can happen if the unit is too small for the room. Going by the model number I sounds like a big unit. I would also try cleaning the filters. Also set the temperature higher.
