No printing on Mac OS 10.5.1

I bought this printer two montw ago and it works fine with Tiger 10.4.11 printing software ( not Canon's), except for the scanning feature. Since I installed Leopard, the printing software detects the MF4150 and shows to be printed, but it cannot print. the same thing happens with my Pixma MP800.

I can not locate a Mac-compatible driver for my Canon imageCLASS MF4150 All-In-One Laser Printer. Where did you find yours? I am on Mac OS X 10.5.5

Check under the Apple site for this issue. I use Leopard and can copy and print with this machine. I have not tried the fax, however, I assume  it will work. The scanner does NOT work with Apple...at least yet...I am not sure if it is Apple or Canon or both who are at issue for this. As per the post below, the duplex works just fine for me. You may want to consider the possibility of removing the current drivers and reload the one's currently posted by Canon.
Duplex Printing

I figured out how to make duplex printing on the MF4150 work! Canon Tech support says that duplex printing is not supported, but they are mistaken.
Here is what you need to do:
1. go to the Canon site and download the latest UFRII driver (v1.5) and install it
2. in the application, go to page setup and select "Format For:" MF4100 Series [this was what I did not realize]
3. then, when you go to print, select the finishing tab, and then select 2-sided printing.
If you skip step 2, and you application defaults to "format for any printer," the 2-sided option will be greyed out. Other printer drivers do not require this, but the Canon driver does.

I had to add an extra step. I have the newest driver as of 10/10/10. I followed steps 2

Cannot find driver/software for my dusty Canon imageCLASS MF3240 on mac OS 10.7 Lion?

There is no driver for your printer to work with OSX. It was for Windows OS only. AND Apple does not support this particular model either.Link below list support printers by Apple OSX>

In Mac then start Solution Menu from the menu bar, select the Go menu, Applications, Canon Utilities, Solution Menu, then double-click Solution Menu. Select

Use Solution Menu to get the information on the machine or change the print settings by only clicking buttons on a screen. With Solution Menu, you can start the software applications supplied with the machine or display the operating instructions. It also provides you with the information on troubleshooting.

Can't print to mac wirelessly (could do it a few days ago)

I had the same problem until recently. You have to install the drivers FROM THE CD that came with the printer, instead of selecting the drivers from the default list. Then, when selecting which printer driver to use (you'll have two options) choose Canon IJ and NOT Canon MX310 series. This is a problem with their MX310 driver, which is solved using a default/generic Canon InkJet (hence, the IJ) driver. Hope this helps!
P.S. This only works on Mac OS X. I have yet to figure out how to print wirelessly through Vista. Will keep you posted.

Communication error

Marky12, if the printer works fine on the vista system then you can eliminate a hardware fault. sounds like a driver or install issue. remove the printer completely from the mac (uninstall software, drivers and unplug) then go to epson.com, choose your countrey and head to the support and downloads section. Get the latest drivers for mac/tiger and reinstall the printer (make sure you have restarted the mac in between uninstall and reinstall) and most important !!! dont plug in the usb cord until the driver install tells you to
Good luck
