Question about Fisher Dishwashers
Although I'm not familiar with this model, it sounds like a switch is stuck or misaligned. With most electronic things, there's a physical toggle switch (sometimes 2 magnetic points, similar to a window security system) located somewhere along the drawers tracks or latch or at the back. Try to find it and see if it still freely moves. If it does than most likely the switch has failed and needs replacement. Hope this helps and good luck!

If it is a dish drawer type there is a clip at the rear of the drawer that holds the drawer closed. you will need to withdraw the drawer partially to look in. with the drawer open the fingers should be facing towards you. If not you will need to reach in and pull the top of the fingers towards the front. there is a replacement arm that holds the pipes and cables away from this part.

Try shutting off the power to the dishwasher for a minimum of 5 - 10 seconds then see if that resets the control system.... here is a link for the manual.. they have several trouble shooting sections within it to assist you.. http://www.fisherpaykel.com/global/customer-care/product-manuals.cfm
Hope this helps...

The fault you have described with the top drawer appears to be related to the lid seal becoming dislodged. However, I am slightly unclear if you can actually open the drawer or not. YOu mention it is hard to pull but you also say you see water at the bottom of the drawer. So I am assuming you are able to open the drawer. This is important otherwise it will become hard to check the problem.
It might help confirm if the lid seal is the problem if you can check which lights are on at the top of the drawer lid. For example NORMAL and RINSE. I am assuming since you have an integrated model there is no LCD display in the front.
If it is a lid seal problem then you may have to call the technician from Fisher and Paykel. It does involve a little patience and mechanical prowess to fix it. There is fiddling with motors etc involved.
You can check the parts out at this site.
