You would be better getting some wall mounted speaker stands, or some wooden corner shelf's rather than making holes in the cabinets.
You can get special anti-vibration plus pads that stop the speakers moving, or you can blu-tack them to the base or stand.

Take a look at page 4:
You need to press on the tab to the right hand side (looking at the back) this will release the wire which should easily pull out.
To replace just push the tab again & insert the wire.
