Try these steps for your issues:
Home >editing group>selection pane
On the selection Pane each object in the slide appears as the as a separate item in the order they are layered on the slide.
Click the object you want to delete, drag it to the top of list.
On the slide, click the object and delete it.

Dear uddhav, you can make a presentation by making slides by putting the main initiatives of strategy in bulleted points. You can choose a nice template and start your presentation. As far as i know there is no default template for product planning presentation in power point. You'll have to design one for yourself.
You can attach excel sheets though to show quantitative calculations. You can import charts from excel into presentation too. You might like to add pictures too.

This issue can be caused by any of the below possibilities.
1.- Computer AC / DC cable is bad not allowing the computer battery to charge.
2.- Battery is bad.
3.- Battery charger board is bad.
Solutions:
1.- Computer AC / DC cable is bad not allowing the computer battery to charge
Verify that the AC and or DC cable is not bad by testing the computer only with the power plug connected and the battery out of the laptop.
2.- Battery is bad
It is possible that if the power plug is good that the computer battery is bad. Leave the computer connected to the power with the battery connected in the computer for at least one hour; if the battery does not charge, consider having the battery and/or the laptop serviced or repaired.
If the computer and/or battery is not in warranty consider just replacing the battery as it is very likely that it is just a bad battery.
3.- Battery charger board is bad
If the battery has been replaced or new or an alternate battery from an alternate identical laptop does not work in the computer, it is likely that the power or charger board within the laptop is bad. It is recommended that the laptop be serviced or repaired.

Do not check the check box as leaving the touchpad enabled while using an external mouse will not cause any harm.

Don't forget to select the Fn key and F4 on HP laptops. It could also be the Fn key and F8 depending on the laptop brand. It is the apple key and the F7 key on a Mac notebook. On Laptops this will toggle the video to the aux port where the monitor cable connects to the projector. There are 3 modes. video on the laptop screen, video on the laptop and projector, or video to the projector only.

Dotted borders identify placeholders, where you can type text or insert pictures, charts, and other objects.
The Slides tab shows a thumbnail version of each full size slide shown in the Slide pane. After you add other slides, you can click a thumbnail on the Slides tab to make the slide appear in the Slide pane. Or you can drag thumbnails to rearrange the slides in your presentation. The new slide now appears both on the Slides tab, where it is highlighted as the current slide, and in the Slide pane. Repeat this procedure for each new slide that you want to add.
Tip If you want your new slide to have the same layout that the preceding slide has, you can just click New Slide instead of clicking the arrow next to it.
