Hi (from Australia), It's quite possible the laser is out of alignment. This is easily rectified, just take it to a repairer and they will do it for you, and it shouldn't cost more than $20. Kind Regards, Neil.

anti-theft feature, you need to conatct Kenwood customer service, to obtain the code. As long as it's not hot and you have a receipt, shouldn't be an issue

i think the security code on most kenwoods is KCAR. you have to enter the code from the remote control though.
