SOURCE: Gas oven not heating to temp

The fault is either the capillary has fallen away from back or it is a faulty thermostat.

SOURCE: electrolux oven wont heat up after power cut

It may be necessary to actually pull the AC plug out and let it stew for a while.
Many electronic controls lock up with a loss, then return, of power.

SOURCE: My kenmore gas oven won't heat. I turn to dial to

When the bake igniter becomes weak or burns out, your oven would not bake. The bake igniter is usually mounted on the oven burner. It's about 1 inch by 4-8 inches (depending on the model), and comes in round or flat styles. If you don't see the igniter glow at all, it's probably burned out. Replace the igniter if found defective. Note: one of the exceptions could be that your oven is set to automatic mode instead of manual. If this is the case, set your oven to manual mode and check again.

If the bake igniter glows red and not bright yellow or white, it is probably because it is too weak. When this happens, the safety valve would not let the gas out into the oven burner. A weak igniter must be replaced.

A faulty igniter is probably the most common cause, however there are others:

-- defective thermostat
-- defective selector switch
-- defective gas safety valve
-- defective gas valve coils

I have an electrolux oven eocl633w. The grill works with the top element but when you select oven, the lights go on, the fan goes but no heat from either element. We thought it might be the automatic timer...

It definitely sounds like the muli-function selector switch. It is probably best to contact the spare parts section of electrolux or the company which owns electrolux and quote the oven model number. You can't always get exactly the same switches as they sometimes discontinue the original.

My electrolux eod33002 bottom oven does not heat up but light and fan work. The top oven works OK

If youhave a ELECTROLUX electric Cooker or Fan Ovenwhich is not heating it could be one of the following problems.

1, If the fan motor in theback of the oven is going round and the temperature light is on (normallylittle red light), but there is no heat then you will probably need a new ovenelement, these are generally very easy to fit and readily available from our websitethese can be tested with a electric meter.
To gain access to the ELECTROLUX element you willhave to remove the back plate from inside the oven. Once removed you will seethe fan and element, if you look closely at the element you willprobably see a small hole burnt in it where it has blown. Sometimes howeverthere is no evidence of a fault but the element is opencircuit i.e. broken inside the element casing, either way it will needreplacing. Some elements will are fixed from inside the oven and some are heldin place by nuts from the rear of the machine.

2, If your ELECTROLUXfan oven is getting warm but takes a very long time to cook or is burning thefood more on one side than the other, then you need to check if your oven fan motor isworking you will see the blade turning fast if it is ok. if the element isheating but the fan motor is notblowing the heat into the oven then you need To replace the oven fan motor is alittle more expensive and a bit more involved.
3. If you have the opposite problem i.e. your ovenis over heating and burning everything then you will need to replace your ELECTROLUXoven thermostat

4, A quite common and easily overlooked answer isif your ELECTROLUX oven is not working at all i.e. noheat and no fan then the chances are that someone has put the oven timer into AUTOmode, simply put oven back to MANUAL mode and all should be working again.

I have an Electrolux double oven and grill which has stopped working. The power has gone off and the gas isn't flowing. The electric supply has been tested and is fine. Any clues???

you didn't specify a model but most of the electrolux unit have a single control panel across the top behind the front control panel on the main circuit board is an object about the size of a dime with a small red button in the center apply firm presure to this red button it will click back into place (if that was the problem) its a thermal over load and is sometimes accidential tripped by trying to broil some thing in the top oven with the door open a little bit excess heat gets in behind the controls and pops the thermal WARNING turn off the power before attempting this the reset is mechcanical and does not need power to reset it ALSO lots of delicate stuff in there- ribon cabels -thermal coupling leads be careful
good luck

EOU6330 grill doesn't heat-up all the time.

hi Step 1: Check the power cord, the plug, and the outlet. Then look for blown fuses or tripped circuit breakers at the main entrance panel or at a separate panel.
Step 2: If the range is receiving power, set the timer on the range to the MANUAL position.
Step 3: If the element still doesn't heat, turn off the power to the range and test it with a VOM set to the RX1 scale thank u................

Electrolux oven wont heat up after power cut

hiya
sounds like the fan element could have blown, causing the electrics to trip out. best thing to do is remove all the racking
and then the rear panel that covers the fan and element. if he element has blown most of the time it will be visible.

hope this helps
