Bluetooth connections are very susceptible to interference. Many things can block the signal. Microwave ovens, aquariums, your body. try to keep a clear path between devices and stay withing 10 meters distance between devices.

Check that bluetooth is turned on, on your Samsung Phone which is likely but make sure that your phone is set as visible to all devices. Then try searching again for the bluetooth speaker.

Go to Settings > Bluetooth > (Find the speaker you are trying to connect to and delete it from your "Paired Devices" list.)
