What's wrong with our printer?
The printer shows I have ink, but it does not print, black or color. A few times, it would print parts of what was to be printed. Then, the next time, it would not print at all, that includes making copies, too. Help! We have tried doing troulbleshoot, that doesn't work. What would the problem be?
What's to be copied goes through, and it says printing. There's 1 beep, and it stops. I've gone back through the set-up. I've copied many, many times, no problem. Suddenly it won't copy. [email protected]

Type "print nozzle test" in the search box and click Search. Perform a nozzle test, and if the colors match what are on the instructions, your print head and inks are OK.
(1) If the print head and inks check out OK, type "wrong colors on print" in the search box, and you will see several troubleshooting steps you can try.
(2) If the nozzle test colors are off, confirm that you are using BCI-6 inks for all three colors and the small black tank. You should only have a BCI-3 tank in the large black position. If you have all the correct inks, your machine probably needs to be serviced/ repaired.
There is nothing wrong with the black ink. Just run the head cleaning for better printing.
1. Go to printer and faxes 2. Right click your printer ( Epson Stylus Multifunction Printer/ Copier/ Scanner InkJet) 3. Click printing preferences 4. Click Maintenance Tab 5. Click Head Cleaning 6. Run head cleaning for 5 times then try printing.
3 things will cause this. Either you are simply out of color ink, the print head is clogged or your driver is set to print only grayscale or black and white.
You can run the cleaning cycle a few times to see if you start to get it printing colors. If you printed a bunch of color stuff the last time you used it and it has set for a week or more (sometimes less) then the ink can dry and block the sprayed ink. The cleaning cycle helps clean it off and restore printing.
You can also look at the print settings from the start - then printers and then right click on your printer and then look at printing preferences. There should be a setting that says print color or gray scale or auto. It may also show you the status of the ink, if they are empty or not.
Usually after all this you will find it just needs quite a few clean cycles and away it goes.
I have a brother MFC 3240C. My Black ink stopped printing(initially printed horizontal faded lines and gradually got worse), the other colors were printing fine. I tried cleaning numerous time( 50 -100 times over 1-2 weeks ). Still no improvement. The way I print now is:
1. I go to Printer Properties
2. Change Media type from "Plain Paper" to "Inkjet Paper".
3. Change Quality to "Photo".
This takes a long time to print 1-2 minutes per page. However, this works for me since this is my Home printer and use it for printing only few pages here are there.
Now put out u color cartridge and take one tissue paper or toilet paper then put ink color head to paper(soft pressure).after that see u paper are inside show three color appear in paper????(red, yellow and blue).if all have means you cartridge ok if only same or no any coming out means u color ink problem need to replaced new unit.
if got all color out better u open u printer body and check are all cable u plug in back is correct or wrong position??.second u can try go to printer preferences go to find print out in color or in gray-color and change their setting to print out in color
Something is wrong with your Blach carrier or connections. Use a bit of alcohol and clean the array of gold contacts where the Ink cartridge plugs in. Most of the pins are shutter and piezo control (get the ink on paper) but a few do other stuff like check ink level, # of hours runtime, etc. This is very common problem with inkjet printers. Hope this helps. Also... rub the contacts on the printhead with a pencil eraser to make them shiny and bright.
Epson 777 will not print. No paper jam. Power light flashing; red error light on steady. Paper does not feed; if paper supply is placed deeper in feed, entire paper supply (about 12 sheets) feeds thru as one sheet normally would , without printing.
Your ink cartridge had developed a problem with its delivery system. Install a NEW cartridge and you should be back printing again. I repair these printers and see it all the time
