Use a program called Itunes, or media player for windows, or you simply can drag and drop from windows expolorer.

This should plug in using a USB cord plug it in the computer and follow the prompts if you see it detect it as a mass storage waalaa all you got to do is use windows explorer to do so good luck if this information helped you please use FIXYA for a reting thanks

Try reformatting the MP3 Player/drive, and make sure it's not locked.

If it is Sony NW-E105 mp3 player then you need to download Sonic Stage software from Sony Support and install it in computer to transfer music files.

How to tranfer the song from ipod classic to pc

Hi Kelvin, if you want to know how can you transfer music from iPod to computer, you can find it not hard to accomplish with your computer. Here are the steps.
1. Plug your iPod to computer with the USB cable. The computer will read your iPod as an external disk.
2. Double-click your iPod icon and open it. Click "Tools" in the toolbar, then Folder Options > View > Show all hidden files.
3. You will find a folder named "iPod_Control". Double-click to open it and you will find all the songs in your iPod, but they are randomly organized.
4. Copy and paste the files to your computer, and then launch iTunes.
5. Click Edit > Preferences > Advanced, and then click the "Change" button to choose the folder which is used for saving the iPod music files.
6. Check "Keep iTunes Media folder organized" and click the "OK" button at the bottom of the window.

Then you can both get the iPod music in your computer and iTunes Music Library. This is a very useful trick for the users to extract music from iPod. iTunes is one-way transfer software, so it only allows you to transfer music from computer to iPod, but never transfer files back.

The likely cause is that you didn't download the complete file.

4. Locate the drive created by the unit, generally just called Removable Disk, with a letter in Parenthesis. Drive letters vary depending on your system configuration.

5. Open the drive by either double left clicking on the drive itself, or by right clicking to open the option menu then left click on the desired drive.
6. Locate the music stored on your computer. Generally this is stored in the “My Music” folder of your computer.

NOTE: if you are unable to locate the music on your computer, click on start, search, files and folders, then search for “*.MP3, *.WMA”.

7. Once you have located the song files, you can right click on the song itself, and select “copy”.Open the removable disk drive, right click on in the empty space, and select Paste. This will transfer the song on to your MP3 player.
8. Repeat step 7 for as many songs as you want to copy on to the unit.

I can not download music from my PC to my Katana Eclipse X.

Hi, Welcome to FixYa

There are three ways to transfer files to your mobile. USB,Bluetooth,3G Upload

Using a USB connection:
The Sanyo Katana Eclipse is compatible with the "USB Mass Storage" norm. While linking your Sanyo Katana Eclipse to your computer should make it appear as a memory key. Open it and just drag MP3 or other sound or music files straight to your phone, as if it was one of your computer's folder. For the remaining steps, please refer to your Sanyo Katana Eclipse manual. The ringtone section should explain how to select an uploaded file as a ringtone. You can download user guide here
By Bluetooth:
The Sanyo Katana Eclipse is Bluetooth-enabled. Bluetooth is a wireless system which lets you connect your cell phone to computers, headsets, car kits, etc. If your computer is also Bluetooth-enabled, simply establish a connection between both devices and transfer your music files from your computer to your Sanyo Katana Eclipse.

Via a 3G Uploader:
If none of the above tricks do not work with your Sanyo Katana Eclipse or if you prefer not to buy new accessories, you can still use one of the numerous free "3G Uploader" services available online. 3G uploaders work as follows: Save your own music on their web site and they will provide a temporary URL. Navigating to that URL with your Sanyo Katana Eclipse's browser should download the free ringtone.

Thanks

I have just purchased a Coby MP300. I am trying to transfer my i-tunes library to the MP300 player - ultimately to be able to transfer this music to my Amazon Kindle. Can you help, please?

I downloaded the Windows Media Player, tranferred my CD's to that & uploaded them to the MP-3 Player. I didn't find any way to transfer the files from i-tunes to MP-3.
