The priming option should be in the service menu. Typically you start the priming operation and the plotter will prompt you to install the startup heads (orange). Make sure you have no low cartridges or the operation might fail, although I believe the system will tell you if any ink tanks are too low to prime.

02.1:10 service station error- failure to reach home position .
you need a service tech to replace the service station within the plotter

The most common cause I've seen is that when people put the new cartridge, they forget to remove the seal which makes the ink stay in the cartridge. It is typically a strip that covers the hole where the ink comes out, or else a strip that is located far from the hole, but that needs to get removed or else the ink will not flow from the cartridge

Service station error..Remove right cover, remove & take out service station, check any objects in service station movement, remove motor clean entire unit with water you can find out lot of ink inside & too dirty clean it allow to dry apply grease for smooth movement( pl take care of pumping unit & tubes), fix it back, perform service station test ( to enter in service mode switch of the machine with power off button from front panel hold UP arrow button & OK key button then which on the from front panel button, wait till enter in service mode scroll to service station enter, three options service station,primary motor and aerosol motor select service station, enter wait till result papers on panel) best of luck...

I have this error with my Designjet T1110. I followed the instructions in the service manual 2-14 for troubleshooting.
questions:
- instructions say :"Check that the Starwheel Assembly cable is not damaged and is correctly
connected to Main PCA." but I could not locate any cable from the starwheel assembly to the main PCA. I could see only cable from the starwheel motor assembly to the main PCA.

Star Wheel Motor has a problem.
01 code says "reseat/reconnect/clean and manually adjust" the motor.
The Star Wheel Motor is on the left side of the printer.
If you arn't trained on it, get someone who is, to service it.

For a single computer you can install a JetDirect card and assign an IP address. Then connect the computer to the plotter directly through the ethernet connection on the computer using a cross-over cable (standard ethernet cable will not work unless you use a hub). Another option is to simply use a USB cable connection. Drivers are available from HP.com, Support, Downloads.
