SOURCE: Infinite folders and inability to play music
You need to reinstall the firmware, which can be found on Sansa's site. If this is not an option, which it likely is NOT, you need to send the device out via the MFG warranty, or just send it to the MFG. If you look into the files on this device, it has a VERY VERY bad history with performance on this site. I hope this helps! problem solved!

Why don’t you try another usb cable? Or you could try transferring via Bluetooth as well. From the message, 'unexpected error has occurred in communication' you can see that the device providing the communication between phone and PC, i.e. cable is not functioning well. That is why even when you switch from port to port the problem persists.

Ok, you need to put the file in the EMBF folder on the USB stick and the the machine should be able to see it.
was the machine serviced before you bought it?
one thing about computers is one minute they can be working & the next
minute they can go out.
you mentioned the machine was making a clicking noise, & it's not
suppose to be.
check the usb port to make sure the computer is tranfering the information
correctly
Try created a folder on onedrive then selecting all the files and copying and pasting them to the new folder on onedrive. It should work the way your doing it though, not sure why it wouldnt.
