The lights flashed on mine for about three months before smoke started to pour out of it during the drying cycle. It nearly burned my house down.

stoveboy,
I know you probably have the problem fixed by now, but I had the same problem with my frigidaire range just the other day. Loud popping sound, range/clock controls do not work. Stovetop still works great.
I took the back off the stove and got to the circuit board. Unplug the connector and the five spade connector wires. Once you do that, remove the 4 screws holding the entire assembly in place. The circuit board(s) are held in the housing with retaining clips on the housing. Use a small screwdriver or similar to pull back on each clip to pry each side of the board out. Once the board(s) are free, look in between the two circuit boards and you will see the problem. The larger, 20 amp relay is the culprit. It blew traces off of both boards making it almost impossible to repair. Without having a schematic to go by, I went ahead and decided to just replace w/ new boards as opposed to trying to solder the traces. I have not checked on prices, but brief web searches didn't return any results. The board part # is SF5301-S7509-N

SOURCE: Frigidaire gallery stove, oven not working,
Morison,
The same thing happened to me about a week ago. I was preheating our electric oven, heard a very loud bang/pop. Checked and the oven had PF (power failure) I went downstairs and the breaker was tripped. Came back upstairs and to look at stove, the burners are working fine so I continued to preheat oven after a half an hour the oven was only slightly warm. Did you ever find out what was wrong?

Hi friend, thank you for your inquiry!
I understand that the panel on your Frigidaire dishwasher has lights on the far right side of the panel. I would recommend a reset on your dishwasher and you can do that by flipping the household circuit breaker in the off position for ten minutes. The lights on the right side of the panel could be providing a warning to inform the panel that something is wrong. A reset could provide an error code for further diagnosis. I hope this information has been helpful. -Matt

Hi friend, thank you for your post!
I understand that the green light for your lock on your Frigidaire dishwasher is not turning off. I see your question is labeled under the model number GSB5712BC based off the design of that control panel you should be able to hold down the power dry button and the lock light should turn off.
If that does not correct the issue I would perform a reset on your dishwasher. You can do that by unplugging the power cord or flipping the household circuit breaker for ten minutes. I hope this is helpful. -Matt
