You have something overheating and shutting down. You need to have knowledge of electronics to fix that, do you? You can feel the chips as it plays and see if any get hot. After that, you need some tools you probably don't have, and knowledge that you probably don't have to fix it. yourself. Take it to a repair shop.

SOURCE: Bose Wave radio humming noise

Actually the problem was caused by a bad 470uf cap, that was used to filter the powersupply for all the analog amps. Replaced the cap the unit works like new.

For bobby11 and luis, it is the power supply. Part Number EAY34797001 in the 42" and EAY34796801 in the 32". This is a known problem, and somebody should start a Class Action against LG over this one. Part is available online and easy to swap out for anyone with the most basic knowledge.

SOURCE: CD wont play in my Bose Wave

HI.This will occur when the optical assembly becomes unstable. this ((Whole One Piece)), assembly incorporates the spin/load motor, optics housing /arm, tracking device and tracking rail. This is connected to the loading dock assembly. This 'NO Disc', code is the result of a failed or burned out lens. It is possible that you have a dirty lens cap. you can try using a cleaning disk in this case to confirm actual lens failure. if the cleaning doesn't restore normal reading capabilities, this will confirm my diagnosis.

You will need to have the optical assembly replaced in this case. once replaced, your unit will be able to read and track once more.

You "won't" get parts, you want it fixed you have to sent it to them. They won't send any parts to anyone who is not directly part of their "Repair System" They will trade your sys. or update or repair if they still fix the one you have.

My bose CD player is not working my cd are stuck I don,t why

Good luck this should do it.

If you have a cd or two stuck in your Bose wave radio, here's how to remove it and save yourself $99. This procedure is for the radio (model AWRCC1 or similar) with a single front loading cd slot.
PART I
1. First unplug the power, wait a minute, and then replug power, watching the front display.
2. The display will read "Ejecting". If the cd ejects, then you're done and can skip Part II. If it doesn't eject and/or it displays "Disk error" then you'll need to do the Part II steps.
PART II
1. Unplug the power cord.
2. Turn the radio upside down with the front facing you.
3. Remove the 5 screws from the bottom plate.
4. Hinge the front of the bottom plate up no more than 2". Don't overdo this or you'll damage various ribbon cables inside. Use extra hands or a prop to keep it open this amount.
5. Reach inside and tilt-up the front of cd player's metal housing just enough to access the rims of the cd(s) within the space created in step 4.
6. Pinch the rim(s) of the cd(s) and gently pull it/them out.
7. Reverse these steps to reassemble your radio.
Enjoy your cd player again!

It is probable that the battery will need to be changed, this the first step to find out if additional work is required.

I have a Bose Wave Music System (Model AWRCC1) and the CD player sometimes momentarily pauses while playing. Is there any thing I can do about it myself? Is it worth sending to Bose for repair (about 5...

Hi,
Well, the lens light needs re-trimming, that's why it's having a hard time reading that audio CD.
The adjustment is in the LENS assembly, there is a trimmer nut under that you will have to adjust and clean. It always works on CD AUDiO player ( not on DVD ).
You could send it to Bose and have it tuned and service clean the whole unit, it is not that expensive or bring it to any electronic tech and he knows what to do.

Hope that helps!
