You have something overheating and shutting down. You need to have knowledge of electronics to fix that, do you? You can feel the chips as it plays and see if any get hot. After that, you need some tools you probably don't have, and knowledge that you probably don't have to fix it. yourself. Take it to a repair shop.

Actually the problem was caused by a bad 470uf cap, that was used to filter the powersupply for all the analog amps. Replaced the cap the unit works like new.

For bobby11 and luis, it is the power supply. Part Number EAY34797001 in the 42" and EAY34796801 in the 32". This is a known problem, and somebody should start a Class Action against LG over this one. Part is available online and easy to swap out for anyone with the most basic knowledge.

HI.This will occur when the optical assembly becomes unstable. this ((Whole One Piece)), assembly incorporates the spin/load motor, optics housing /arm, tracking device and tracking rail. This is connected to the loading dock assembly. This 'NO Disc', code is the result of a failed or burned out lens. It is possible that you have a dirty lens cap. you can try using a cleaning disk in this case to confirm actual lens failure. if the cleaning doesn't restore normal reading capabilities, this will confirm my diagnosis.
You will need to have the optical assembly replaced in this case. once replaced, your unit will be able to read and track once more.

You "won't" get parts, you want it fixed you have to sent it to them. They won't send any parts to anyone who is not directly part of their "Repair System" They will trade your sys. or update or repair if they still fix the one you have.
