This tablet has a tiny Wi-Fi antenna and needs to be very close to an access point to connect. If you don't have any luck with it, try a hard reset, in case it's a settings issue. Be sure to back-up any data on the device first.

SOURCE: I have a crystalview xt android tablet or PC and my system UI stopped working

• You need to switch off your tablet
• Then press/hold power+volDOWN+home just keep pressing it
• Then it will switch on with a word start in it let go of the buttons you are holding
• You need to click on the VolDown twice so a recovery mode will appear.
• You need to click power so it will restart to recovery mode
• An android image will appear that has a red exclamation mark
• After which you need to hold down power and then press VolUP
• You need to use volume to scroll and press power to select "wipe data/factory reset"
• Then you need to scroll down again and press power to select "yes-erase all user data" This will now start your tablet to reboot Then it will switch off then switch on again.

Crystal View NB4-3/5788 7 inch Netbook. I forgot the password, no volume button. How factory reset with no volume button.

Question edited for clarity.

You can't. You have to fix the Volume button first as it is the thing that initiates the reset. But you can try the volume Up button instead. Some version of Android will work with either or both Up and Down.

Crystalview xt

Battery might be faulty or the powering/charging module. Some contacts between battery and netbook might also be broken. Check the connections and some how to load the battery to empty it.

Crystalview xt manual

I cannot say for certain; however, several reasons cause this to happen. One is Old communication drivers need to be replaced with updated versions. Distance can be factor; how far from the source (Modem or WiFi sender) to the tablet? Then there is hardware factor> some internal Wi-Fi receivers inside of the tablets start to weaken over time and die completely sometime down the road. The final factor can be damage to the sensitive electronic parts and circuit board. If a tablet has been dropped or misused; the tiny and thin mainboard could fracture. Cold and/or heat could open a vital connection and if the board has a separation point, the opening (called a SHORT) will disconnect a portion of Audio, Video, or Communication sections. Your problem has a variety of possibilities which require actual inspection of the Tablet by a Technician.
