My 12” Delta Cruzer quit working today. You can hear the motor, but it doesn’t engage with blade. I checked The belt, and it’s good. Thoughts? I’ve had it for about a year.

SOURCE: When I engage the PTO, the blades don't egage.

The first thing we need to to do is verify that there is adequate /(power 12 vdc) going to the electric clutch, you can do this by unplugging the clutch and check both wires 1 should have 12 volts and the other wire shoud read infinity to ground if this checks out replace the clutch, if you dont have 12vdc to the wire replace the relay

My Delta Unisaw quit spinning the blade even though the belts are fine. The blade is tight. The motor druns.

I would unplug saw and check if you can turn blade by hand the belts do not move. I would remove pulley and check key on abror shaft.

Blades won't engage. I hit something, blades quit turning, check belt, its okay. When you hit button to engage blades, you hear click

When you look under the mower do you see two belts ? Top one goes to the rear axle and lower one goes to mower deck spindle.
Your description sounds like the electric clutch is engaging,so if you are seeing two belts coming off the bottom of the engine maybe the belt bounced off a idler pulley on the deck and is not tight enough.

My hitachi c10fs miter saw wont turn blade, can hear motor engage,,dont know if it is the elec. brake

If you can hear the motor engaging but the blade is not turning, there could be several possible reasons for this issue. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the problem: Check the power supply: Make sure the saw is properly plugged in and the outlet is functioning. You can also try plugging the saw into a different outlet to see if that makes a difference. Check the blade: Make sure the blade is properly seated and tightened on the arbor. If the blade is loose, it may not spin properly. Check the belt: If your miter saw is belt-driven, check the belt to make sure it is not loose or broken. Check the motor: If the motor is running but the blade is not turning, it could be a problem with the motor. Check to make sure the motor is properly connected to the blade and that the motor is running smoothly. Check the electrical brake: If your miter saw has an electric brake, it may be malfunctioning. You can check this by unplugging the saw and removing the blade. Then, turn the saw on and see if the brake engages. If it doesn't, the brake may need to be replaced. If none of these troubleshooting steps solve the problem, it may be best to take your saw to a professional for repair.

Delta 1313314 motor runs but blade doesn't turn

With this perticular motor I would suspect that the issue is a broken drive belt. The belt is located on the back side of the motor, behind the plastic end cap. The belt is a 10" long cogged belt and looks like a timing belt.

When I engage the mower blades it makes a nasty noise, like a bad bearing. I checked the brakes, belts, etc and all is well. Any thoughts?

hi there mrswp211

check out the pulleys from the pto to the deck for noise - if rumbly / noisy replace them , if not
remove pto to deck belt ( make note of belt routing 1st ) then rotate blades and spindles by hand give a good spin you should hear if noisy , grab blades and try to move them fore/ aft to see have movement if they do and they are not smooth and quite spindle bearings are the problem

generally if unit is noisy only when deck engaged bearings will cause this

but make sure pulleys on the top of eack spindle good to and everything is tight
a badly slipping vee belt will make a squeeling noise and somtimes will make the unit shudder

you will have to remove deck to replace bearing(s) , from experience replace mandrell/ spindle assys do both at same time because if one has gone the other wont be far behind - both do same milage and work and quite often if replace bearings only they dont go back in tight .

cheers hope it helps

I have a delta 36-600 table saw that the clutch or drive has quit working . the motor was rebuilt about a year ago now the drive slips is there a simple or easy fix or adjustment to the clutch for this...

If you have a motor with the no.1313314 and the motor runs ,but the blade spindel does not turn try removing the backcover plate . With this removed you might find that the toothed gear belt has broken. If this ,in fact, is the problem the belt is a Bando syncro, link 100xl.
Hope this rectifies your problem as I am waiting for a new belt myself.
