I searched but didn't locate the manual at the Sears web site.
A web page mentioning self-cleaning is below:

Thanks for trying but I could not connect. Perhaps because I am in Canada? Also comments refer to a gas range, mine is electric but same code. Appears to me that it is not self-cleaning.
Sorry, I couldn't locate that model number. There may be an additional model name somewhere. If it is over 15 years old, it is unlikely we can locate a manual. Self-cleaning ovens are notoriously faulty, so it may not be worth using it.
If it doesn't have an obvious Clean or Self-clean button or knob, it may not be worth taking a chance on it breaking.

If it has a mechanism to lock door, then yes.

try this
1. Verify error code by pressing and holding CANCEL/OFF key for 5 seconds.
Momentarily (less than 5 sec.) press CANCEL key again to remove error code
display.
2. Press and hold any key for 1 minute until F2 E0 code is displayed.
3. Cancel F2 E0 error code.
4. Program and start the clean mode. Observe to see if door locks. If it does not,
inspect the locking mechanism from the solenoid to the latch pawl and door to
find the cause of the problem. If the door is not locking, then 1 minute from the
start of clean, the F5 E1 code will again be displayed. Steps 1 through 3 will
have to be repeated before another clean can be started.
5. Once any mechanical problems with the latch mechanism have been corrected,
program and start a clean cycle (after, if necessary, clearing F5 E1 error code)
to ensure proper operation of the door lock. Immediately cancel the clean mode to observe proper operation of door unlock

try this, after several calls I finally found out what the code meant. code meant. Power supply issues, not necessarily with your power supply but with the appliance itself. Of course they want to send a technician for $65.00, which may be worth the headache. All someone told me was to turn off the power braker for 2 hours and try again. Yeah right, after 2 hours of heating your house and paying the electric bill, but when breaker is off there will not be any electric used. code f40,
