Kenwood blender BLP40 - goblet will not unscrew from bottom half. appliance is working. can you help?

Hello,

What i have done, with mine that seems to work, is i soak it in some real warm water, not scorching hot just good hot tap water. Soak it for a bit, then try it as it will soften it and sometimes that helps to get it unscrewed. Give that a try and see if that works for you. Also of course make sure you are turning it counter clock wise to unscrew. Thanks Mike from Fixya.
