SOURCE: i need the infocus LP 500 projector driver

Here is the InFocus Site pertaining to your projector.
There usually aren't drivers for projectors, When you connect a projector to your computer Windows,
(assuming that is what you are using) see's it as another monitor. Start the computer with the projector plugged in to the second graphics port. Right click the desktop/properties go to settings tab. On the second monitor adjust the resolution to whatever the native res is on the projector is. That should do it.
Post back with more details if you need more.

SOURCE: Infocus In24+ driver?

IN24 does not require a device driver it utilizes the video display drivers built into the Microsoft Windows OS. You should be able to simply connect the PC/Laptop source to the input VGA connector on the projector then project.
Make sure to toggle your PC/Laptop to output out of the VGA port otherwise it will not send data to the projector

SOURCE: black and white image on infocus x3

first reset the settings to factory default (menu, settings). if that changes nothing and the colorwheel is still in tact, the main board is bad.

SOURCE: I just replaced the lamp on an Infocus X10 DLP

This is seemingly a common issue on the IN82 (which I've also had) and is usually resolved by switching off the 'BrilliantColor' setting in the menu.

Our infocus dlp xga 4000 lumens projector has white spots showing up.

You might inspect the DLP color wheel if you're confident in opening and looking inside your projector.

My infocus 1503 short throw projector is having issues. When I turn it on the fan gets very loud, like on overdrive. It then will just shut off unless I tap the side of it. After tapping the fan gets quiet...

I own two of these projectors. You need to update the firmware to 1.03 which can be found on the infocus website. This solves the fan issues which also causes premature shutdown of the projector. Once you download the update, open it, there will be step by step instructions on how to do this procedure. I could not get this to work with Vista 64 so you might need to run this on XP or 7.

The InFocus LP 250 is not working with Windows VISTA Operating System on my PC. Do I need to download drivers for this to work? If so, how can I download the drivers?

Hello.

Your InFocus projector works with your computer through the VGA or DVI port. You don't need to download a driver.

Check out the manual (How-To Guide) from here:

http://www.infocus.com/Support/Products/Projectors/LP250.aspx

Hope this helps.

High pitch noise from the projector and is not from the fans

it's the colorwheel. if you have an infocus x1a, it is a dlp projector and has a colorwheel and dmd chip instead of 3 lcd panels. the colorwheel spins to allow the lamp to stike. it should make a slight high-pitched squeal. if it's too loud, the motor is shot and needs replacing.

DLP Infocus Problem

first of all, the infocus lp 790 is an lcd projector, not a dlp. second, the light filter in front of one of the lcd panels is burnt, and unfortunately cannot be purchased separately.
