Hello , I have problem with the digital camera , NIKON S570 . When i start the camera and lens is out and when I press the button for blitz or scene or menu everything is freezing . Nothing works . What is the problem and how can I fix it . Thanks .

Press the MENU button. Select Setup (the wrench icon). Select Sound Settings (the speaker icon).

Yes the possible solution is alright but there are errors within the camera. Sometimes the lens error is due to failure of the lens control system. You can remove battery and card replace battery and while switching on tap the lens hood on your hands so as to disengage any dirt or mechanism being struck.
Use some air to blow between the lens to dislodge any sand particles struck inside. If none of these works then you can think of taking consensus with the service center.
get estimate before you decide. It will be good to have it checked at the Nikon service as you do not have to run around for spares.

Fix #1: Remove the batteries from the camera, wait a few minutes. Put a fresh set of batteries back in (preferably rechargeable NiMH 2500mah or better) and turn the camera on. If that didn't work, try pressing and holding the Function or OK button while turning the camera on.
Fix #2: If the camera's batteries ran down completely while the its lens was still open, the camera may show a lens error or not start properly when new batteries are installed. Remove the memory card and keep it removed, then install the new batteries. When you turn the camera on with the card removed it may come back to life, as this triggers a reset in some cameras. Error E30 (for older Canon's) means that you don't have a memory card installed, so turn it off, slip in the SD card and turn it on one last time

Some cameras do that. Most of the time, the streaks don't appear on the picture.

Lens is cracked and now I can't look at any pictures the touchscreen doesn't work
